    it was weird that none of the larger ones came with pieces...I know I was looking through Megatron's box for that diorama piece over and over...

    What sword is that? I’m assuming it’s from an upgrade kit since it looks like TR Alpha Trion’s but not exactly

    yup that is a Dr. Wu sword, the colors don’t match but I feel that it works.

    Just received Skylynx and been putting him thru the paces (didn't get to give him some pics yet).

    Thoughts?

    He is one heavy spacerobokitty.
    The spacedragon mode is more proportional.
    I love the pseudo Shuttle details.(heat tiles etc)
    He's got actual landing gears( even the crawler's twin tails got some purpose too)
    I like the base mode
    No electronics.
    Really "magnificent"

    P.S. Back when we were kids, the motorized "Technic" gimmicks were awesome but really limit the figure (poseability and transformation wise. Once they get gunked by battery leaks, buh buh playability.)

    Cons?

    Wished the gold accents were chromed.
    He kinda shrinked.
    My version is the JP Takara one, I am missing the so called pre cut map and decoder which the tfwiki said was included.Oh, and I checked.:mad:  It seems that ALL of my Takara versions are lacking the decoder or am I just "lucky":( 

    Aside from the cons, another great "re-issued modern take of the character/figure/toy.

    My new configuration with Sky Lynx and Omega. I like the shuttle being parallel with the rocket.

    Here he is next to G1...they are the same size or very close in ship mode, and he's (ER version) much bigger in "robot" mode.
