I really want this guy but I wish they would've considered the head proportions a little more. Is it just me? I can't stop seeing MasterMade proportions on him.  At least the head's not as massive as the fort max titan.

He does look cool. Saw this earlier but didnt think to post sorry. All the shield/road formers look cool tbh. Love that he is a crossroad secction too.

Same. Smart of Hasbro to make a crossroad piece for people who army build to put together big cities. I also love that it means both his bot/alt fit the "Doublecross" name.

But man, really wish they had ensured they were compatible with TR because now we only have 4 figures to connect using these...unless we also stock up on repaints.

Using the TR joint would've made it way easier to integrate these in to existing layouts.

 

Yeah I know its a shame. Would have been good if they did one side AIR lock and the other side as TR but then would make it awkward I guess

 

I certainly get a little bit of "kid in a Scorponok costume" from his proportions (though not as bad as Armada Unicron's "little kid in football pads" proportions...)

seems like his head should be... maybe 15% smaller?

 

Are you sure the head is blue? Is it at least remolded? Giving him the exact same head as Airwave seems like a weird choice.

 

Is there anything about the TR connection point that would have precluded them from reusing it here? It would have had to follow the same rules as AIR Lock, that is it wouldn't have a Male/Female end that only worked one way.

 

someone - and apologies to them, this is the 2nd time I've forgotten who - noted a while back that the heads of the Modulators have the helmets of 1 of the original Micromaster partners that came with the bases and the faces of the other...

 

I know, but at least Greasepit and Ironworks have different paint. I'd expect Hot House to have a red or grey head instead of blue like Airwave.

The map literally says there are 4 waves. So unless Hasbro says otherwise, you are the one who is ignoring evidence for your own assumptions.

 

Is it just me or Doublecrosser looks a bit like Fulcrum? Similar color schemes, shield parts on arms, similar helmet... just that he has 2 heads.

 

So how the heck do you get to 7 steps with this guy???
