Every time I glance at this thread with my one of my brothers in the room, they always ask why I'm looking at pictures of cows. I tell them the same thing every time "It's the Gundam forum, Hadlen just likes posting pictures of his work" to which they repeat the question and I have nothing else to tell them. And this just keeps happening.....
Too True. If a calf isn't up, nudging about, running, or nursing within the first hours, you worry. When you don't see a calf move at all for an entire day, you intervene. If you don't get or do either, you bury the calf. I just came back from checking on Nemo, she's in calf nap mode surrounded by the nusery herd, got a dried sticky face that smells like milk and Jesta's a few quarts lighter. Because hoomans are dumb. What can I say, I built that! - Anyway, we can get the thread back to the main topic again. I just did the last bit of work on these this morning before I head to the hay field. I put a second coats of paint on the planetarium bases. Saturn and Mars need a little extra time to dry and another light coat. Uranus though turned out fine last night. I added a little bit of my white recipe (contains duck egg blue and light gray in it) to the navy blue/warrior purple pan and it looks great. mind the 'faded' brushstrokes those will disappear with a clear coat. I'm using my Regular sized Microbrushes to do this. To be on the safe side, I went to check online about when I eventually need to resupply, and discovered the 'fun' way that Amazon is putting restrictions on some of them that says you need a business/medical license to buy the canisters like I did before since they're listed as medical/dental supplies, it's a shield to stop people from buying medical supplies. It's not a lost cause however since Microbrush does produce and sell their products as hobby supplies through Flex-I-File and Alpha Abrasives brand. The only problem is the price I paid for 400 regular brushes only allows me to buy 300 through Scale Hobbyist. The good news is I'm barely into my first 100 2.0mm brushes since I've managed to clean them and reuse most of them.
It's a combination of our large relative head size and smaller womb in the mother due to our bipedal stance that the human body doesn't mature as rapidly during gestation as most other mammals.
Its a shoddy, half-assed product that requires a lot of follow-up work to make look good. "Things you can say about your toys but not about people's kids"
"Cows, inferior human kids with their parts falling off..." The mods are like: "oh it's just the Gunpla thread again..."
"I don't think you can get replacement parts for that botched circumcision." Okay that's it, I'm done!!! - The gratifying sight of an eager calf telling a tired mother she's hungry! Got out of the hayfield before 2PM, feeding time for the whole herd is at 3PM, and Nemo sees me coming out anticipating a bottle but when I pointed to Jesta, she did the rest on her own. By feeding time, she had tapped three tanks!
Nope. stay the course. Unless the guard piece interferes with your grip, maybe extend the handgrip? Now I see how I want to paint the RG's saber when I get to it.
I'm actually near accurate for the right dimensions for a 1/10 upscale from the 1/100, only differences are the upper shroud being a slant instead of a parabolic curve and the main emitter's shroud is about an inch longer than it should.
Well, the cradles were almost ready, and then I remembered to pay attention to the artwork and manuals for Uranus and Saturn only to realize that I painted the tips of the nose cones, and not the sensors. At least freshly applied acrylic comes off in a five minute soak in the ultrasonic. I even clipped and trimmed each planet's v-crest expecting to just line them up in a row. .. Meantime, I need to get better at checking my junkmail folders. I had a shipping notice from New Gundam Central for a week and didn't notice it until tonight. Super Nova Igel is on its way. The good news is, despite taking the cheapest shipping option with the 'estimated' 42 day delivery period, it does have a tracking number.
If your farm is named either White Base or A Bao A Quo (or however its spelled), i'm gonna lose it! XD
"Welcome to my ranch, Texas Colony." "...but this is Georgia." "Welcome to my ranch, Texas Colony." White Base is something you name a tractor, so you can jump onto it (AAAHHHH). Granada is more fitting for a place where moobile sweeties are developed. Moopo~n.
