hey I had to resort to getting one from board members so I know how you feel *L* he's so worth it though.

 

placed my order last night and just got an email saying their on backorder :/. hopefully they get enough in to fill the backorder log and I can get one *sigh*.

Got my shipping email with tracking # this morning, man I got lucky. If I hadn't done the Bill Me Later thing, I'da been SoL.

I've been trying to get one of these since they started popping up, but either I couldn't find or couldn't afford one. My fiance saw me looking at the WalMart page and decided to buy MPSS for me. I was thrilled, finally I had some closure and I wouldn't have to worry about paying ~$75-100 on Ebay...then I got the backorder email. Way to manage your stock WalMart.

 

I'm just hoping they get enough new ones in stock to cover their backorders at least. I've never gotten one of the MasterPiece figures due to the price point and this one hit within what I feel I can spend on a figure like this so I'm hoping it comes through :/.

I ordered mine a couple days ago and did overnight. Just recieved mine today! He is much bigger than I thought.

 

I just got my shipping confirmation today!  On a side note, I notice that although the link on the first page of this thread will still take you to the Wal-mart page showing Starscream instock, when I then tried to do a regular search for him on the site, the only thing that shows up now is some crappy "Scream Of The Morning Star" CD. It looks like Wal-mart is finally out of him for good.

Nic pics. To bad we don't have a Wal-mart here in NY. I would have liked to got the sweet deal on Starscream you did, but buying him online was the best, (and really only) option for us.

 

Masterpiece Starscream

I have been a member of the TFW2005 forums for several months but I haven't posted much. But I thought I would post this info. I too received the dreaded "Backordered" email from Walmart.com and I called their customer service line to ask them about it. The rep I spoke to told me that 85% of the time they have been able to meet those orders. I hope this comes to pass or I'm going to look real stupid for wanting to believe the rep.

 

It's possible. When did you order it? Did you try to order him from the link on the main page? Because even though you can still access it, it doesn't mean anything anymore, because you can no longer find Starscream when you try to search for him on the main page of the Wal-mart website. If it has been sometime today, you may be out of luck, but if it was last night you may still get it.

 

He's available again right now by clicking on the link in the first post. Obviously no guarantee you'll actually get one...but you can order him.

 

I just got the confirmation that mine has been shipped.  

 

I know it says he is available in the link on the first post. But try typing in Wal-mart.com in your address box, and then try to find him when you type in Starscream in the search box. He no longer shows up, just the CD I mentioned before. (Although you can still find Skywarp being offered for the insane price of $149.88.)
