I'm of the opinion that Nautica, Velocity, and Firestar can all come from the same base mold.

 

I'd kill for a decent Nautica. Problem is I'm not sure how much longevity there's going to be for the figures now that this series is over. I thought SXS might deliver, but I've pretty much given up now.

Subsequently I'll be passing on these, I just don't see the point. Unless MMC open up about what they're going to deliver, I just don't want to spend the cash and end up with an mostly incomplete line-up.

 

Aren’t most of the toys we buy and talk about on TFW based on series that are over? I’m not understanding how MTMTE/Lost Light being over would kill interest any more than any of the other cartoons and comics since the 1980’s.

I totally get wanting to be sure we get a full(ish) cast though. With any other company I’d be wary but I feel like MMC has more than proven how committed they are to MTMTE.

 

Planet X and GCreation are the only two other companies i'd trust with making IDW figures.

Just... don't do a Kadmos again with the eyes, PX.

I don’t think that’ll happen cause those would be fully sized figures and thus be more expensive total. These other two packs seem to happen cause they’re cost effective.

 

Yea I was just saying because there not big names like optimus/megatron starscream/rodimus that I would do anything to get the lost light crew, and that includes buying two packs of characters that maybe mmc might think want sell alone but together they might so including a bigger name with them might help.

 

I can understand that. But MMC is kind of a line based on a popular but niche designs. I guess with what I’m saying is that they could absolutely release Pharma on his own and make a sale. Especially when the only good pharma is to make your own with a TR Triggerhappy, I think it’d be possible.

 

Oh yea I get what you're saying and I truly believe Pharma would sale great, I just don't believe mmc does, butI've seen pictures of how to make pharma out of triggerhappy but never tried myself.

 

I'd slice through someone lengthways for a Pharma.

 

Finally managed to preorder them. I wander what MMC has in store for us, I really hope they will stick to IDW v.1

 

I'm sure they will. IDW 1.0 is beloved and has a devoted fanbase. IDW 2.0... exists.

I know there are plenty of people, myself included, who will keep buying excellent MTMTE figures for as long as MMC keeps making them. Complete Lost Light crew, baby!!

Somebody posted a custom from a Generations Armada Starscream that looked great; I'd like to think if MMC ever does him, we could get even a repaint of the Wing/Alpha mold.
