Yeah the shoulders and chest look so meh on Locke to me. Face again though looks bang on.

 

If those are the final colours I'll be happy. The metallic finish looked terrible. I might finally finish my movie bot collection this year with this and Springer.

 

I went ahead & put a Pre-order on Locke. I have a cheap Krank, but obviously he's not top tier & i have no intention of going down the FT rabbit hole of collecting. I dealt with that type of "must buy, it's limited!" compulsion in another hobby & realize it's not good for me.

 

Any update on Locke from XTB? I'm seeing that Dr. Egg will be release before years end.

Quite impressive, no seam in the middle of the robot's chest like FT's, alt-mode looks clean, Kup always had a backpack but the backpack looks ridiculous, anyone notice how they didn't show it from the side?

I like what I see thus far, hopefully is built like their Wreck Gar. I already have FT version but this looks really good.

 

the only thing ft beats this on is the facesculpt but other than that bring it on!!! has the backpack increased in size on this?

 

That worries me, including the butt area, which looks like a fanny-pack on backwards. Overall, its clean and that's what drew me more to this over FT's, which I had before I let it back into the wild.

 

Looks damn good. I'm happy they stayed away from that overly metallic paint.

 

looks really good, and yes way way better than koot IMO. face sculpt and proportions very strong here. that said i'm on the fence about kup as a character. i already have a magnus, springer, hot rod/rodimus and an arcree. if i get kup i would need to track down a blurr. lol and i think nobody made a decent one in the right size except FT and they are long gone

 

I'm stoked for this picture, and seriously debating swapping out Koot.

However, note the obvious tease for...GNAW!

 

Now THOSE are some good colors. Face sculpt looks a bit wonky though.

Very glad I skipped the FT one, I much more prefer the heft of the upper torso and shoulder areas on this one.

 

Μeh, they boarded the TT/FT train, not so awhile ago. The only hope to rectify this is if their Quintesson, gathers enough dust, but I wouldnt hold any hope.



That said, I dont care for Kup like at all, but this looks impressive. Facesculpt looks like shit though.
