Have to disagree with your firearms assignment assessment, dear Motorpope, and briefly let out my armchair gun nerd and say that the Uzi is 100% in character for Snake Eyes as both a ninja & a commando (which are pretty much the same role despite distance in geographical and historical origin) because those roles and the character himself are both all about infiltration and up-close-&-personal (downtime hobby: Spike-knuckled trench knife collector) that means for any unwanted confrontations you ideally want a compact, reliable, close range small arms weapon (even better a silenced one but it took I think v4 of the OG.I. Joes for 'em to get round to that?) with better capacity and potential area denial and/or force multiplication than a silenced pistol (that's why Solid Snake would beat Snake Eyes - yeah, I'm obviously kidding he wouldn't even get a "Hh." out :p ) for the possible cramped spaces and built up environments you'd be operating in, and the uzi was no Mac 10, now that's "spray & pray". Turns out it's Hollywood deployment has been a disservice as the uzi was/is the more controllable early submachinegun but don't just take my word for it for here is the word of Gun Jesus...

Though I'll give you no argument that by now it should have been superseded by the superior (silenced) H&K MP5 or MP5K, or best of all IMHO, and to keep a similar silhouette to the Uzi, the MP9.

Good shout on the MP9, the Sideshow Snake Eyes I have (version 2 I think) came with both an Uzi and an MP9 (amongst a wealth of other kit!) so you have modern or OG display options.

I am trying very hard to resist falling down yet another rabbit hole with the 6 inch JOE's, but they do look very nice, and I think the Sci-Fi weaponry is growing on me too...

If it makes you feels any better, even though I know I'm right :p , I pay the price with my self-knowledge that the capacity to get caught in the "KEWL!" factor of weaponry whilst also accepting what they are designed to do is rather disturbing in regards to one' moral dimensions, with some accompanying shady reflexive disassociating mental gymnastics and is, quite frankly, somewhat worryingly sociopathic. (Which is why I am occasionally repulsed from said interest, and keep it locked up generally. I think of it as my "Inner Clarkson".)
It does, and IIRC goes along with Ancestrod(?) a Hot Rod/imus that turns into a lion!

There was an artbook, not sure who by, called T-beast that reimagined a lot of the G1 crew as animals. A few different companies are making toys from it. I think Transform Element is making Bumblebee that turns into a tiger. And there's a Hawk Starscream too from some one

I think I prefer the look of Gorira & Lio Convoy from Perfect Effect. Though that might be cos they make more sense

Yup, breaking up white lines is for the artistic community and/or mad people.

Joes - Ordered Snake Eyes and will stop there until they do a good SS. There hasn't been a truly awful figure yet and all look good, but without any medium to personally justify it (it was about the only major figure line I wasn't into)...

SE having an Uzi just feels right IMO. Apart from looking cool, the high rate of fire and short barrel let you stitch all round you or whoever is in front, that's why machine pistols are a street gang favourite even now. I've an uncle who shoots competitively, once he explained moving a gun barrel even an inch is the difference between massive heart failure or a shoulder wound, particular weapons had more context lol.

On that note, The Equalizer TV show (not the boring movies), were spot on. Whoever was advising on that knew their stuff!

oho, I’m liking this! Probably won’t buy it, but it’s better than the usual cavalcade of near-identical G1 designs all at MP scale. I also like to see a figure that completely changes shape from one mode to another, it’s a sign of fantastic engineering.

In other news, I got into jojo when lockdown began, and I’m now right at the end, halfway through part 5. Absolutely elated my mate who’s been trying to convince me to watch it for years. I won’t even begin to try to explain half of the mental shit that goes on, the only example I’ll give is someone using healing powers on a hospitalised baddie in order to justify beating him senseless immediately after.

I've also received the invoice. Funnily enough I snagged some Rungs on Ebay which are inbound for fear of missing out on him AGAIN. At this rate I'll have a surfeit of Rungs xD
That said I have a friend who's also a big fan of Rung so I'll probably send one to them and I quite like having two of a Battlemaster/BM Mold so I'll likely keep at least two Rungs. Maybe one is Rang? :D

Ooh, have to mildly disagree here I thought the first Denzel Equalizer was brilliant, threading the needle of not making him fall into a potential angry black man by not trying to ape Woodward's fantastic stage rage but to have a more internal driving fury, borderline OCD McCall. I kinda loved how the first act was almost a slice of life indie film about a lonely black widower, and the unlikely midnight café friendship between him and a your sex worker until it all kicks off. Made for a great origin to kick off the new movie Equalizer.
Sadly, in agreement with the second one though, my recent watching felt a bit like the transition from Casino Royale (the Craig one) to Quantum of Solace - it went pure generic. Tying the main plot directly to McCall's history made the film smaller, and the saving a young lad from the streets subplot was really clunkily after-school special-ish, plus led to one of the dumbest idiot ball moves ever committed to celluloid given to Denzel, a moment of blasé overconfidence the McCall in the first film would not have made. A bit like The Matrix sequels it felt there was a bit of an overcorrection on the whole ethical underpinnings, much like the Wachowskis tried to unpick the more potentially able to be appropriated Fash-ily philosophical elements it makes a hard swing to "actually, the CIA are all bastards", er, except our guy. Plus during number two I couldn't shake the thought of how much suspension of disbelief they were asking with purporting that the CIA are actually competent, it felt like way more heavy lifting, probably a mark of me not being as fully engaged by the storytelling as by the first.Yeah, that one was dull, and I'm not looking forward to a third if that gets made. I'm out.

What really grated with me was using The Equalizer name at all, to then have it not be remotely as interesting IMO (and by that stage generic, even for Denzel!). Even the director admitted he just wanted the cache of the name. Whole franchise annoys me one way or another tbh.
    ...

Still got Cosmic Ghost Rider and Prof X to open but do have a flood of thumbnails... The stand with Donny is from a pack of 3 and they'll 'do' but tightening the pivot screws is a priority. The TMNT figures are generally brilliant but also rather rushed feeling.

LOVE the Mega Construx, really looking forward to the rest of the TMNT and hopefully more Predators and MOTU when they show up.

If you're buying a Xenomorph you could do way worse than super stylish Rhino Alien.

The Doom Slayer should be my last but you know us lot and repaints.

Whether you just like Black Widow or really need an amazing stand with effects, the set is for you. It'll go on clearance too with the movie probably indefinitely delayed (November is the earliest opportunity and that already seems a bad idea!). The stand has the height you want, is pretty well weighted and works with TFs because of the spring loaded grabber. Even has foot pegs on the base. Positionable from almost every angle, only downside is the arm doesn't come out once placed unlike the rest.

I'd honestly rather have that than a watered-down pastiche like the A-Team film ended up, I expected little from the first but got a nice surprise. The second I got a bad aftertaste.
I suppose I should get around to the OG box set seeing as I already have all of the surviving 'Callan', no one quite does unbridled justified rage like old Eewar Woowar!

That A-Team film deservedly died. Everything about it was awful, and it had clearly been made on the fly (characters endlessly calling each other crazy is always a sure sign of that, plus horrendous CGI even on a dockside? Yeah...). And let's not forget weapons just appearing from nowhere!

I still liked it better than Equalizer though lmao, I can't be having mopey action movies I guess. Make sure you watch the Equalizer set though, pure class!

I get Toyworld Searchlight vibes from him. I like the look of him. Not sure though if its enough to move on the TFCC battlechargers.

Possibly the best copter mode of any bot so far. And I say that in full view of Spinister and Handsome Springer.
