Well, a third Stardust Memory gundam for me, the MG of the Stamen. Should look great next to my Gerbera and Zephyranthes.... Once I finish those...
I think I like the Cielnova more than the Portanova as the default "evil X-mac" or whatever the 30MM bots are called. I really want to get the new weapons set with the chainsaw and broadsword. I'm thinking of making another custom mecha to go along with my Antumbra and using more 30MM parts as a base.
Meh, not worth the ammo. It's been years since we fixed and replaced everything that was wrecked by them and they sputtered off to a trailer park in Florida. As it is, I just repaired my tractor after a cascading breakdown under the hood. Nothing I did, these things wear out from age and use: the ignition switch burned out, flange of the exhaust pipe sheared, and a coolant line to the radiator burst. Only costs were for the materials and paying the muffler shop to do the machining work I can't do... yet. Seeing the work pay off mostly. The benefits of not having a clock to punch (except feeding schedules), rural living means I've got plenty of acres for social distancing with the current pandemic literally in my backyard. Though, I'd have to say the best part is the companionship and their smiling faces. Betchi was napping with a full belly. I call it her "Chestnut Puck" impression. - Anyway in Gunpla related news, my photo plates for the GP01 arrived along with my Saturnix Armor!
We have to calibrate the Moobital Cow-lny Drop System somehow. (You knew those puns were coming eventually.) Also, in unrelated news, turns out work forgot to mention that due to my current department assignment, I technically do not qualify for the shorter work week pilot program. So I don't get more time for bi-monthly Gunpla. Though to be perfectly honest, it's not that big a deal either given I figure I'll be working from home until next year at this rate anyway.
Udderly... You're in a fortunate position that you've got a job now to go back to, but even so you're at the mercy of a schedule that could risk shutting down again.
Actually, I work QA for a software company that does a lot with the Air Force, so I think I'm more insulated than most (and I know exactly how freakin' fortunate I am to have this job), though that also is the reason why I wasn't allowed to do the modified schedule since I classify as 'support' for whatever reason even though I could easily prove it wouldn't impact my productivity in the least.
What you're doing is still essential. Like agriculture. I think I'm more than fortunate that the only thing that changed in my daily life since the Pandemic started is the mask I wear in public isn't metaphorical. In the meantime, I'm going to say I think we had a good day. There's a sense of trust when you've got a calf resting on the ground with you kneeling over her, pressing a bottle into her mouth with one hand and her jaw cradled in the other, and there's 800lbs of MOMMY breathing down your neck, and she's licking your arm and the calf's neck and face. Day three is still a critical period, but Nemo's proving she's not that fragile. I'm enthusiastically cautious since anything can still go wrong. What's unavoidable can be navigated should it come to that but I have a responsive build in progress so far. Nemo got a little over three quarts (recommended four at max) willfully consumed from the bottle. I made sure she was comfortable and hungry first. We had to tube feed her twice in the past two nights because it was the only means necessary to make up for the lost hours of virtual starvation. For Jesta's engorged and sore skin, I had the idea to get some plain aloe gel and dilute it in water to spray her udder. It's helped aleviate some of the discomfort and the smell is acting as an attractant. Nemo tried several times to noodle the milk jugs and Jesta never kicked her off unless she touched a sore spot. I never witnessed successful suckle contact but the calf's face has been wet and sticky because she's been getting attention all day from everyone, mostly on four legs. Cows have quirks, familial creatures. Vega has a calf of her own, but checks on everyone's kids. her mother too, and a few of the other calves in the pen have nudged on Nemo. Jesta remains in airstrike support position, no hostilities detected. If Nemo were sickly, she'd been abandoned by everyone.
Yeah, being essential like this certainly beats being essential working retail - having worked Target back in 2016, I have nothing but the utmost respect for people who still have to do that kind of job. And as an added bonus, if you can call it that, at some point I'm supposed to head back up to work to clear out my desk so management can rearrange the office for the people who really just can't handle working at home. There happens to be no less than two major Hobby stores I can hit on my way back home and I intend to take advantage of this. Hopefully I can find two more Ez-SRs so I can make the whole squad. But I'll just have to see what's available when that time gets scheduled. Also... This quote is amazing out of context.

We never had cows on the farm, only chickens, goats, and horses. Although to be fair, the farm was in the mountains and it was a dirt road with a ravine on one side to get there from the main road, so large livestock were kinda out. Goats are little shits, horses are awful creatures and I don't get the draw even though I know how to ride, and chickens are cute and tasty (more of an egg slut though, love me some eggs). Meh, I already have a trinket made of military-grade titanium alloy on my desk. That thing doesn't even have the nubs and seamlines sanded down, its like amateur hour.
True, but so true is what I'm saying too. While bulls can get big and are prone to aggressive displays of dominance, it's the cows that will kill you if you mess with their calves. There's a reason Hungy, aka Gundam Pinzgauer's, Mother's name was DOZER. If they don't trust you that is. I've been taught to run and fly by a few. - I'm a little too tired and a bit sore to GP01 tonight, for some reason my back hurts. Can't imagine why... Nemo, any ideas? ...so I chose to work on something else, painting the Armor Planetarium. The Mars, Uranus, and Saturn bases are painted, this is just a starter coat for the night. Mars is my "Red Comet" recipe, Saturn is the orange blend I made for Haro, and Uranus is something I whipped up in the paint pan. I used a bogus navy blue I made mixed with a color I didn't know existed before called "Warrior Purple." The Flight unit cradles just have a splash of primer on the 'cockpit' sensors.

I'm getting the impression it's a Re/100? Neat! Now that I see it like this, It does look like a Formula Series... *temptation to work on F90 intensifies again* Those look really, REALLY good. Depending on when it shows up at the P.Bandai US store, I'll get this one! - Speaking of looking good.. SHE! HAS! NURSED!!!!! Came out to feed the turnout herd and check to see if Nemo was hungry before preparing her bottle, and I see her springing about, trotting, and one chamber of Jesta's udder is DRAINED. Didn't get a full suckle just now, but she's noodling in the right places without any coaxing. We are making progress! I'm keeping a quart of milk replacer ready by the blender just in case I need to supplement but this is the big step forward I've been waiting for! Quite the scamp, ain't she?
Unlike human infants who come out under-developed and utterly useless, babby cow is ready to GO almost immediately. As are nearly every other mammal. Statue Gundam looks kinda tiny waisted and big chested. Also, its waaaay too articulated. NOT SCREEN ACCURATE, NO DEAL.
