If you want to sell just go on Twitter and search for “turnip prices” then select “recent”. You’ll always find someone with good prices willing to let you sell.

Too much of a hassle. The money I spend weekly on turnips I can make back in a day if I wanted to.

Eh I don’t think it’s that much hassle. I make about 1.5 million bells (net) off 20-30 minutes of gameplay. Sure you can make that much other ways but it takes quite a bit longer in my experience.

I am at the point now with bells that I don’t bother with turnips anymore. Have bought everything I need, done house upgrades for myself and my kids, upgrades all bridges etc and there’s just not much left to spend them on. Maybe if the crowns show up at the tailor shop then Ill drain my account and need to replenish but that’s about it. Hopefully there will be more updates with very high cost quality of life type items similar to what they did with Stardew valley.

Diving. You need bells? Dive. The giant clam and vampire squid are worth tons alone and even stuff like the sea grapes are 900 bells each. I have updated three of my villagers houses with diving alone!

Warning the giant clam and vampire squid are really fast but when you catch them you get good bells from them! It helps to corner them on the sides.

He's probably talking about PC villagers. NPC villagers dont get upgrades except for the starting two getting actual houses.

Went to a cool NMT island I’d never been to before last night. It only had big freshwater fish in the interior. Mostly rare ones - the only common fish I caught were black bass, all of which I threw back. Left with my inventory full of turtles (both kinds), arapaima, saddled birchir, and arowana.

I love that island, only been there once - back in June I think? Pocket full of arapaimas and arowanas is a lot of bells!

I just hit a new island I’d never seen nor heard of. Layout was strange with a small raised plateau in each corner, seven money rocks in the center and scorpions everywhere. I didn’t know there was more than one money rock island - the one with rocks on a little island in the middle.

    Yep - 180K, I believe!

Is that the Scorpion island or a different one?

It’s the hybrid, Scorpion/money rock island. Scorpion island/tarantula island has an island in the middle and no money rocks. Unfortunately I have very little use for bells anymore so 7 money rocks and unlimited scorpions wasn’t as exciting as it would have been two months ago. :lol

So I bought the guide. I know it's out of date at this point (no diving info), but I haven't gotten a good player's guide in ages and every publisher of the past decade folded up, so any new guides are good in my book.

Anyone mess with the custom fireworks? I tried last night but for some reason almost none of my custom designs showed up as being selectable when I talked to Isabelle. Can’t figure out what’s going on

Finally got a good turnip price yesterday morning (565 bells). But I couldn't do anything with it because I didn't buy any turnips this week and had to go in to work so I couldn't have others over to sell.

Last day of the month and I still haven't got a giraffe or golden stag. I'll try again tonight but not optimistic.
