All the drama can easily be solved. Just scroll on by. Done. You get into the drama because you want it (done it myself). Best just have fun where fun is to be had, and scroll passed the rest.

Also, I know some people got replacement parts for overheat. I would like to get some replacement parts for the shoulders as one of them is cracked.

They really should have made the shoulders die cast

Speak to your seller or email XTB's customer service. Baba got mine for me, but be warned: my replacement pieces are still slightly cracked. Not Swiss cheese and unable to stay in place, like my original set, but not good either. Thankfully they were free and Baba paid postage too (one reason why I have no issues with him asking for extra on pre orders currently, but that's another matter), so I'm not fussed, but I really do think XTB should include new assembly pieces (i.e. the entire joint, front and back) with the trailer.

I ordered fromn Baba as well, and he is pretty good. Although once we all put all the bots in combined mode we wont see the hairline crack in the shoulder anyway. I am scared of trying to open the crack to apply some super glue, because i hate to break the figure. the crack is not big on my figure, but its still something I am paranoid about.

PS I do hope we get replacement parts with the trailer which hopefully should go on pre-order. I'll be ordering from Baba so i will see if i can ask for spare parts.

Im excited to see how how the menasors turn out, even the MagicSquare version. I've ran out of room so my collecting is on hold. A couple friends have xtb, FT, and dx9 between them and they all had their perks. If i had to choose a set i think i would enjoy the xtb with the youth trailer the most.

I’m patiently waiting for an update on the trailer with hopes it comes out this year. But a personal nitpick is the feet. I kind of wish they would take some creative license with their appearance. The slipper look doesn’t look good to me. Shoes can make or break the outfit, much like wheels on a car.

    Just out of curiosity:

Does anyone know the background on how the toy versions were named "youth" versions?

Or the simple answer is Chinenglish?

Out of all the options, you want that one? What about the 'Alloy' version? Or as everyone else knows them, toon or anime :lol

I believe the youth term was intended to suggest that they were the toys you grew up with, but that might be happy coincidence or even retrospective happenstance...

You got me. Close enough :p

My gut feeling is translations of translations probably all via Google translate. All nuance is lost and various permutations result in a single outcome.

Or as I prefer to think of it... "just because" :p

I'd say you were onto something, but aren't they all identical (except toon Overheat's shoulders  )? Anyways it's all conjecture I reckon.

Now, where's that trailer got to?

This is getting worse than G1. 30 years we are searching where Optimus Prime's goes to....I cant really afford searching for another 30 for Motor Master's ok?

I thought I read somewhere the “youth” was in reference to the toy deco reminding you of when the g1 were out... in your youth.

Ha... good point. Getting in late affords you a shorter wait. Although... we've all been waiting 100 years, so for you it may only be half again more than that.
