I think it has more to do with the cluster fuck of issues Corona threw into their operations. I don't envy any who has to deal with product development involving overseas facilities and distribution atm

Nothing about wave 4 ER ?, I find it strange that SDCC has already passed and we do not have a list of what could come apart from repaints / Obvious Remolds by hasbro (Thrust, runabout, bluestreak, Ratchet?) Knowing how the current hasbro works, they could easily sell several as exclusives, seeing that they are already working in the third part of the trilogy, it does the whole thing of Earthrise even more mysterious

 

How could screwing up their product photography benefit them? I don't see what they could gain. I mean I didn't Pre-order Rotorstorm initially because i thought he looked awful with Spinisters head. Then when they did show the new sculpt it was sold out on Pulse and I had to order on BBTS.

 

Jsyk: Thrust and Runabout look to be Target exclusives based on Target computer system listings, Bluestreak appears to be some kind of exclusive because he's coming in solid cases, and listings for Ratchet have been found that say he's Selects.

 

I've said it before but I doubt there's going to be an ER wave 4. NYCC gave us the first glimpse of ER wave 1 and some gens selects as well as a tease at Scorponok. Wave 2 deluxes aren't even out and it's already August. Plus we would have seen wave 4 products in store inventory systems by now.

I mean you're asking a question and answering it within the same statement right here, it drove demand higher whether Pulse or BBTS you're still an additional Hasbro product purchase, as am I, right?
It's a neat marketing spin on the ol' bait and switch, fans who settled for the Spinister head get their brand loyalty "rewarded" with a "we listened to the fans" moment receiving positive feedback, and those of us who would otherwise choose to pass are drawn to purchase now that Hasbro have "listened to us", it ain't Rocket Science, it's P.T. Barnum and we are the suckers! I respect the game!

Hasbro announced wave 2 with a september release in feb at toyfair. Shortly after that they released the map image confirming 4 waves in April. Hasbro planned for the production delays and hasn't said anything about cancelling wave 4. Also your idea that the listings would have been found by now, Wave 5 of siege and the voyagers and leader for netflix wave 2 came out of nowhere, so not everything gets leaked early. The idea that wave 4 got cancelled is baseless speculation not backed up by anything

But that's faulty logic. They admitted in the 2nd fan friday video that they screwed up and showed an errored test shot, there was no bait and switch, it was just an honest mistake from people not paying close enough attention

 

the problem is that they are already working on the third part and had 2 recent events to show something and they did not (fan expo and SDCC), work on the next toyline without first concluding or give a hint of wave 4 ?, to these dates we already had wave 5 Siege announced for a while, so many ER-related exclusives in such a short time is something that worries me, what if in the middle of a pandemic they decided to fragment ER wave 4 into exclusives ?, that explains to bumblebee in the promotional ones from ER (Toyline)

 

We had more exclusives in siege, we are about 10 short compared to siege. Wave 4 was confirmed by hasbro in april, netflix wave 2 leaked in may. As far as we know wave 4 has not been cancelled and people need to stop spreading baseless rumors. Facts are observable. Fear is understandable. As of this moment in time, wave 4s cancellation is fictional

 

if there were to be a wave 4, I think we would already have at least a hint of it, with siege we had apafece and Astrotrain listed for months, checking a little on amazon, apparently wave 3 is going to be released in November, seeing how waves are usually divided between one or more months, wouldn't it be a bit tight to launch wave 3 and 4 in a row ?, apart from that, the revealed map of ER doesn't seem to have much more space apart from waves 3 and exclusive (the which have pieces of the map too), How is it possible that we have part of the first kingdom waves leaked and there are still no indications outside April?, the many repacks of siege are also worrying me

 

Unlike last year, Hasbro didn’t have a SDCC for Transformers this year or any of its other brand(Star Wars and Marvel Legends). Meaning they could reveal the rest of their product thru Fan Fridays and such. Just bc we haven’t gotten Earthrise wave 4 reveal to us yet, doesn’t mean it’s not happening.

 

They already hinted that we’re getting a wave 4, a few months ago

 

As you mentioned, months ago, what now? We have no new WFC molds since shortly after the NYTF with sunstreaker. Who would make it up? We do not know, there is nothing about it, perhaps Wave 4 is that assortment of exclusive, but in any case how can they leak material from part 3 before the Wave 4 ER?

 

What leaked from part 3 outside of the name? I don’t remember seeing any reputable leaks.

 

The majority of the first wave, and details about new gimmicks like the Fossilizers and whatnot, and the name being Kingdom for sure (which was already being suspected from the last set of Netflix Siege posters before release that each had a Cybertronian letter in them, that ended up spelling Kingdom) in addition to a Studio Series 86 listing came in a leak from a person who had already leaked Studio Series 86 Kup, Blurr, and Jazz shortly before we got actual store listings for them; the validity of their Kingdom leak was corroborated by the fact it also had a (very weirdly specific if false) Studio Series 86 Leader-class Slag w/ Daniel, and the next day we got an actual store listing for it. Then, within the next couple of days, the Netflix twitter confirmed that Part 3's title is Kingdom, and an image of a poster for Kingdom leaked.

 

Umm what is leaked from part 3, other than the name? Lol

This is the Earthrise map, that comes with the retail figures, who aren’t exclusives from what we’ve seen.

 

I think some ppl in here gotten so used to things getting leaked, that now if something doesn’t get leaked then it’s mean it’s not happening.

 

That, seeing everything become official started as a "rumor" from the same source, seems to have proven to be trustworthy and not just a guy trying to cheat, apart from the leaked poster shortly after the rumor started.
