Man, I really really hate that he comes with CJ's bazooka. Almost as much as I hate the yellow paint on his nose and chin (but those probably won't be on the final product).

 

Well, Walmart just now emailed that they canceled my Optimus Prime preorder because "due to high demand, we were unable to fulfill the items".

 

"Due to inside trading by the person running the website and the original programmer of the bots that ordered up all the stock, we cancelled your order"

And I really wanted Optimus, too. Guess we have to pay the "Git Good" tax and preorder outside of United States of Burgerangunland.

 

I got the same thing, man. I hate this.

 

Same. First Impactor, now Optimus. Time to speculate who's next on the chopping block. I'm guessing Bee or Soundwave. Ya know, the ones everybody wants.

 

So still new word on what's in the Spoiler box?

 

Odds are, just like the first box, we won't see any images of the figure until we get closer to the release date on Walmarts website. So I'm thinking around October 1st is when they'll leak out.

It's almost a shame they didn't goof up the description like the first box and leaked who it was again.

 

Still glad I have PotP Elita-1.
Just like Arcee, every new picture makes it look worse IMO.

 

I have not gotten any cancellation on my wave 2 pre-orders but I'm not holding my breath on any of them. Wal-Mart did cancel my Mirage pre-order the other day though because, like most of my other Wal-Mart pre-orders, it was "stuck in processing". The one pre-order that did manage to go through a year or so ago, I paid with paypal over a CC. I might end up doing that again.

But I think Wal-Mart did me a favor on Mirage. I have the regular release and the hologram version and already having two versions, I cooled a bit on wanting him. In fact, if Wal-Mart cancelled any of my wave 2 pre-orders I don't think it would bother me much except for Bumblebee and maybe Soundwave.

 

I've seen some "outlaw" sellers with loose ties to Hasbro Asia solicit it as shockwave. Even with my embellished language, the seller i checked has been right on POs almost everytime.

 

Elita was the first. Then naturally, they put her back up for preorder. Walmart.com just can’t do preorders.

 

I still have my Elita-1 from when it first was put up.

 

I preordered my figures when they first went up in that frantic bit of minutes without any images or descriptions telling you what you were actually buying and just had to guess what-was-what based off prices.

What criteria are they using to cancel orders when odds are I was one of the people that were first and should have gotten precedence over later preorders? Are they honoring orders paid through PayPal over credit cards? Bots that ordered much more so "Larger Profit For Order" > "Smaller Profit For Order"?

 

Well they canceled my Optimus, wonder how long my Soundwave will stay up?

 

Spoiler: Deep Cover and WFC

I wonder if they'll make Deep Cover all blue since there were a few background Sideswipe guys that were all blue in the show.

 

That is what I'm wondering about. I ended up getting Soundwave pre-ordered that day he went back up for sale and then after it initially sold out only to sporadically pop back up randomly a few seconds at a time. I know I said I would be fine with my other Netflix wave 2 pre-orders getting cancelled except for Bumblebee and while I like Siege Soundwave fine, I think I would be a bit disappointed if Netflix Soundwave got canned too.

 

Oh man, I haven't gotten any pre-order cancellation emails but I'm just waiting for one to show up now. Ugh.  

 

What's with Walmart cancelling all these pre-orders? Does it have to do with the pandemic or something?

 

More likely that they take more preorders than they can actually fulfill. Problem is, there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to who gets their preorder canceled. Even early adopters have had their orders canceled.
