I do enjoy the crossover joke in the very beginning. I also really like the art, the transformers look kind of endearing because of it. Less giant war machines and more goofy robots.

How about the people who have already said “I’m gonna read this!” “I’m gonna give this a try!” Plenty of people also say they enjoy the comics.

If I hadn’t watched the show beforehand, that whole joke at the beginning wouldn’t have made as much sense to me.

Just for context sake that brown horse that the start is Quibble Pants (no, im not joking) and his shtick is basically the same as Simpsons Comic Book Guy. The bug horse is Chrysalis and was one of three villains who didn't reform. Also she was voiced by Roodaka from Bionicle 3. You're welcome.

Also the Transformer art looks hideous.

I disagree! It's designed to not make the robot designs commonly seen in the mainline TF comics clash with the Ponies.

To wit, it's probably the best that artists whose wheelhouse is in drawing cartoon horses, not giant alien robots.

Well, from what I recall, Fleecs is only doing one issue, every other issue will be done by more Transformers orientated artists.

 

It`s gonna be very interesting to see the Transformers Oriented artist`s takes on the ponies
