A console version of Earth Wars..? Good for people that like those types of games. I don’t doubt that this is an enjoyable game but...I’d rather Activision put the FOC games back on steam  

 

The style is more cyberverse then anything else.
however I\'m ok with that and will 100 percent buy a copy and possibly one for my nephew.

 

Release date October 23td, guaranteed to go on sale on Black Friday just about a month later for $19.99

 

I\'m confused as to why a game with such childish graphics, isn\'t a F2P mobile game, first and foremost, and why the current mobile game (that has G1 graphics) isn\'t a premium, console game.

I can\'t see any significant amount of young kiddies, nor adult TF fans interested in this game.

 

They already have packaging art but we have only seen a super short trailer. How about some gameplay videos?

Have you even seen Earth Wars? It has pretty basic graphics, and an even more basic gameplay. You just attack enemy bases where your units do whatever they want, at best you can use some cooldown powers. It is by definition your typical clicker mobile game.
We know very little about this new game. I frankly, don't mind the graphics as long as the gameplay will be good. I have hopes it will be a good turn based strategy, but who knows... could be literally any type of game. Just weird they are already selling it without anyone knowing what type of game it is.

All the designs we have seen from the game so far are 100% Cyberverse. This is a Cyberverse game in all but name. Maybe Hasbro just doesn't want to use the name, given how the show is over.

WAS? Why, have you travelled to the future and played it, oh wise and powerful one?  
We don't even know what TYPE of game this is. Judging it before even seeing gameplay... hilarious.

 

Cyberverse....meh.   I haven't gotten around to watching it yet, but in my defense? I watched most of RID.  

The prob with Cyberverse, imo, is that this game will invariably remind me of the terrible, cheaply-made Cyberverse toys. Usually, it's a good synergy between media and toys. But here?

 

Why is a mobile game getting a physical release, or a console release at all for that matter

 

I mean, at least no one can complain that it's "another geewun" game... doesn't look great though, and the utter lack of anything substantial on show so close to release does not inspire confidence. Here I was excited for Transformers on Switch, still gonna hold out hope for the holy trinity of War for Cybertron, Fall of Cybertron, and Devastation all getting upgraded switch ports.

That in-and-of itself is usually an indication of quality. There's been almost zero hype or anything for this game that's coming out in a couple months. That's disturbing and weird. I really hope it's good though. I'll forever be upset about FoC not getting a sequel and the movieverse games not continuing properly.

 

While I'm liking a lot of the actual toys, Hasbro is really disappointing me with the effort, or lack there of, they show with their media. Transformers is well deserving of a big budget Netflix show similar to Voltron. Something you could recommend to non transformer fans. Siege is not that... and this game looks like a slightly beefed up mobile game when Transformers deserves... well they deserve something like the War and Fall of Cybertron games.

 

Can you blame Hasbro though? It seems like some fans will eat up anything nowadays. There's no incentive to make better shows or better games if fans are fine with things as is.

 

I am pretty shocked at all the positive reviews I'm seeing for the Siege show. I can't go out there and say that someone's opinions are wrong though. I think people are just worried that if they don't consume the media happily, Hasbro won't make anything at all.

 

Geezum crow, I hope it's at least better than THAT. Don't scare me like that!

 

Just a reminder that the developers behind this leave very little room to actually be hopeful for the game given their track record in the past.
