Would like to pick up some cobra troopers, but don’t feel like being “that guy” when the figures are still showing street dated in targets system. Lotsa scalpers here, so they probably already hitting locations and irritating the hell outta employees. I’ll just wait till the 14th, hopefully they’ll at least trickle in and out of stock like the seeker set

Welp, checked my Target, and no sign of any figures. Didn't really expect there to be... will just wait till they're online and keep my fingers crossed for availability.

Good point...still going to try to get four of these guys, but my goal now is just one. It could be that his lack of red/silver paint apps and his armband are all that make him unique, so just one to use as a leader would be just fine.

Three, for me. One with goggles for a squad leader.

No Joe's at my Target at all yet. No prices tags and no empty spaces for them either and they just reset their toy isles.

Got my two Cobra Troopers today - had to ask a couple of nice gents to go to the back to find them - and also had to convince them that even though that their scanner thing showed a 14 Aug street date, they would indeed scan at checkout. They were very nice so they gave me the benefit of the doubt and tried it. Offered to sell me the whole case of Cobra Troopers after I explained how a fiasco the whole thing had been up until that point online, but I told them the rest could go to the shelf for others. Checked Popfindr.com an hour later, and no more were showing in stock (previously 6).

I will probably buy a couple more later if I ever find them again.

    No Beachhead, unfortunately.

There was hardly anything at Wal-Mart toy wise in the action figure section. Yikes!

Man, the Target at Lakewood, WA, wouldn’t budge about the new street date for Beach Head. The stocker told me that his manager said that the figure wouldn’t check out until 8/14/2020, even after I told them that I bought the Troopers from another Target nearby. I just thanked the stocker for checking and left. Bummer, but not going to make a scene over a figure.

That Classified Trooper is like you spliced the Devil's Due Cobra Trooper with the Retaliation Wave 1 Cobra Trooper (blue parachute harness guy). I like.

Glad you were able to pick up the Cobra Troopers, but to me, it seems like amazingly bad bungling on Hasbro’s part the you and others are having to convince people at Target that it’s okay to sell them to you. And others still are getting turned away completely, over the August 14 street date which is no longer accurate. Hasbro doesn’t seem to have been able to coordinate with Target at all on this date change. I’m glad to see that least some people are having some luck getting these, but I wish Hasbro had communicated the date change better, to Target.

Nah I’ll wait for a dedicated Quick Kick, after posing Snake Eyes and seeing how much it benefited from the drop down hip hinges, it’s hard to go back to Legends style hip articulation.

I wonder how long before Marvel Legends start adding the new articulation schemes introduced in Lightning Collection and Classified line-wide? It's about time that Bucky Cap mold got retired at the very least.

It’s going to be a long while, it’s like an ongoing experiment across their 6” scales. We at least know they had an idea for this in the Classified line years back since the digital sculpts were already done. I think their intent was to save the best articulation for Classified.

For Legends it’ll take years to get to a consistent articulation scheme but I think they’re going to pick and choose which articulation mapping lends itself best to characters. For example, Spider-Man and Nightcrawler benefit from the drop down hips. Plus their Legends tooling library is extensive.

With Joes I can see them eventually moving to a universal hinge system for wrists, where it’s a hinge + swivel but acts as a ball joint that can hinge in any direction. Currently the hinges either swivel horizontally or vertically.
