Yes and that's why I don't like ibot's delusions of grandeur. When asked why their trailer cost as much as Fans Hobby's whole figure, he claimed that theirs was "premium" while FH was a chug.

It was a lot more than a case or two. It is a common issue with the foot/ankle joint. Stop digging before you get in deeper. Do your research first.

Well, FT will be no less than 700 bucks in the end (and probably far more than that, if prices keep going up). I really do hope that XTB stays under 500, considering quality size ecc.

Maybe dx9 will be the cheapest.

I think so too, but they haven't shown an updated Dragstrip. Not sure what they are waiting on. They should strike while the iron is hot.

I got you dawg. So long as you pay me the same courtesy. :D

Frankly, I too am quite sick of the non-updates to this thread. Granted I know we just got a 'teaser' pic of the trailer yesterday, but that was mostly met with criticism. I long for the day when I can finally show off a complete Menasor and then unsub to this thread and forget about it's existence.

For me it's Gravestone as the best of the group but yeah if it wasn't for the "old XTB" lack of paint I'd say Crackup would be up there. I'd still probably be tempted if they reissued him with paint. The youth version shows how good he can look with a better finish.

Magic squares is meant to have 3 menasor modes and a load of stuff with it to justify that but highest I'd seen it was $130 though. Still it is high for a legends figure but a lot of them have been high priced over last year.

Always makes me laugh when people are happy to pay more for something. I'll never understand it. As for milking the TW Devy... who's competing against them? And it's 6 figures plus parts.

I agree - anyone thinking this will be less than $100 is in for a rude awakening. $250 though.... nope.

Yes to this. $150 to me is reasonable give or take, but probably take. $200 and like I said... I'll be begrudgingly parting with my money, nothing anyone says will change that. I'm not suddenly going say - oh yeah good point, $200, here take it.

Who said anything about being happy to pay more? But why wouldn't you compare it to TW devy or any other MP combiner for that matter? Sure TW is 6 figures, but honestly independently the figures really aren't MP in terms of look and finish. Also feel free to disregard the comparisons to FT and DX9... we might as well toss in the MMC Bruticus which has limb bots at $100 and the core body at $160 although that includes combiner parts. The upgrade kit is $60 so right there we are looking at $ 620 for their combiner. Gotta compare the possible price of xtb to everyone else before crying about it...

Looks like if I write NONE you couldn't understand despite it is in capitals. I give up. You can now go back to the Fantoys thread you're coming from :trolls:

I particular like the 'threats' of selling the set. Crack on fellas, I'm sure xtb couldn't give a toss, you've already paid them for what you own. At this point you're shooting yourself in the foot overpaying FT second hand prices or hunting down the old DX9 stock.

A very reasonable comment... I almost forgot that this is TFW2005.

I'd like to continue the discussion and regard the points you raise about comparing all other combiners - of which I have spent money on also, but "crying" haha - okay - guess this conversation is over.

Very much this. MP combiners have been a $500-600 pricetag since they began ~5 years ago.

To be fair, $600 was the chug combiner price 7-8 years ago. TFC started their pricing at $100 per bot for their not-devastator and not-superion as I recall.
