Well there were 2 at New Hartford. Associate just came in the aisle, scanned one & took it to customer service. Possibly a call & hold.
Two hours drive each way 50-50 right now, MAY be going to Albany on Sunday, going to leave early and take 5 instead of the Thruway IF it happens...
So I think I’m going to end up with an extra Skylynx by Monday if anyone wants it for retail. I have one coming from Target ship to store and it appears either GameStop or Fed Ex found my package that was lost last week. If anyone is interested, let me know. Staten Island central target store has snapdragons available. Also didn’t know price was bumped up to 31.49
I thought it to be weird too. I have to check the other target as its the one I normally frequent. Only went to this one as it was close to my job and have been hunting slitherfang for a friend. There were tons until someone asked me to get one. Now it’s all siege battlemasters still.
Found Slitherfang at Target in the Poughkeepsie Galleria. He was in the clearance aisle, marked down from $5.99 to $2.99! Left the two Rungs there. Otherwise, nothing of note there, or Walmart in Fishkill. No GI Joe, no Star Wars Lego sets that were supposed to be out today(not shocked about that, actually). Another buy. Gates Walmart put out another case of Netflix figures. Picked up Decepticon Mirage. BTW: Anyone know what's going on with Gates Walmart? A lot of bare shelves. And not just in toys. Seems a lot of empty peg/shelves all over the store. I hope they aren't planning on closing the store.
They def won’t close the Gates Walmart, it makes them a fortune. I sell a product there and that is the store I have to stock the most. I would assume since Gates is Rochesters least affluent suburb, that during the pandemic people are spending less money on toys there. There’s less disposable income. So if the store doesn’t have high toy turnover, they aren’t going to stock it. I have to assume toy manufacturers are having a tough time right now getting toys from Asia, and Walmart is trying to place toys in stores that have high sales numbers.
But there are a lot of NON-toy shelves that are empty. Going past the shoe dept, there are has huge gaps in stock. Even a bunch of empty clothing racks in the woman's clothes area. Empty racks in the baby area too. Gee, I wonder what way I take to go to the toy area.
