I noticed today that Target shows the next wave of Cyberverse deluxes (Hot Rod and Grimlock) on its web page; has anyone seen them in the flesh yet?

 

Not at Target, but Kmart have started to trickle them in.

Also, I can confirm that Big W stores in Victoria are beginning to stock in Studio Series Roadbuster, Shatter and Offroad Bumblebee.

I didn't buy Roadbuster, but I got Shatter and Bumblebee. Both are excellent toys, well worth picking up.

Amazon Australia now lets you import sleep mode/dead optimus. Price is Au 80 with 16 postage, but postage is free if you have prime and since prime is $7 a month postage is effectively $7.

 

Or nil if you sign up and then cancel after ordering.

Ah, I have wondered from time to time if they got around the Netflix loop. Guess they did!

 

Only Netflix figure left at my local Kmart is Hound. Also looks like every store I went to has had a restock of Earthrise wave 1. Anyone else notice this?

I did also spot some Cyberverse that could have been new, but as always I'm not following their releases enough to know for sure.

 

Transformers at Target? That is indeed quite a sighting at least where I am. Until now the new studio series figures have only appeared at BigW.

So I've just now been told at Kmart that there won't ever be any re-stock of the Netflix line.

This is a Kmart that I'm quite sure has re-stocked their Netflix deluxes at least once...

Anyone know if this is bullshit?

 

They probably mean there won't be a restock of wave 1.

It looked, to me, like Kmart received wave 1 as an allocation rather than being ordered at a store level. Likely that one allocation was Kmart putting out everything they had to as many stores as possible with no option to replenish.

My local Kmart restocked their shelves once, in the first week of availability, but I just assumed that was backstock they couldn't fit onto the shelf the first time.

There probably isn't any more of wave 1 at the NSW distribution centre, so wave 1 is done and dusted.

Wave 2 is expected in a couple of months, if Hasbro Australia can secure the stock, and might not be stocked under the same SKU.
