I preordered waaaaay back in early March before the whole pandemic happened and did the free shipping. After reading a few posts about shipping taking longer, mine will probably be here by Thanksgiving. lol
On the norm, if you are in the USA, it should take any where from 28-42 days. They did drop the shipping company they were using, so I am hoping whatever they switched to will be faster. It took 40 days to get my Unicron from them. Longest 40 days of my life. But he showed up in perfect condition. I am hoping the same goes for this, tho something like this I am not as worried about the box he comes in. The one thing I don't get though. I buy a lot from a guy on Facebook his name is Terry Wong. He is also in China, but a very well know, and trusted seller. When he ships, not sure what he uses .... people here in the USA get their items within a week. So I know there is better shipping options there. Just no idea why stores like ShowZ doesn't use them. Best Regards,
Same here...mine hasn't shipped yet, either. I pre-ordered back in April and paid it off at the beginning of July. It's cool, though...I look forward to it.
China is a big place. Maybe they're in different areas and have different shipping options available?
I'll get around to it eventually. Right now I just have to pout, piss and moan. I will like the fig, it's just dead to me for the time being
Idk why but the"dead" eyes just look right to me on the S1 head. SEE/movie head is going to get the DiaClone treatment. Done in Gold.
Just got my invoice from TF-Direct. $20 deposit with $80 due for a total of $100 USD with free shipping. Super excited for this one. I also have my blue and gold Gundam markers standing by
I got my pre-order notification to complete payment, but I'm still debating. Part of me wanted this to be similar to the original when it comes to paint, but the other part of me says that's what makes the original less enjoyable. I would actually have fun manipulating this figure without worrying about the paint scraping and it seems the ratchets are improved. Not feeling the dead eyes though. Easy fix of course with some paint, but meh... I hate having to make something small as that a custom job. I have the first run of TE-01 and he looks more the part to me in more ways overall when it comes to G1 cartoon feel. I guess I'll give it a few days to think it over.
I'm the opposite. I don't want to have to do major repairs but a minor fix or adjustment gives me a sense of accomplishment and helps me bond with a figure and really appreciate it rather than plunking it on the shelf and forgetting about it. But then I'm kinda weird about that. I tightened up ER Skylynx's wings the other day, which is super easy and took almost no effort and I was so proud of myself I had to stop myself from trying to show the whole world.
Yeah, I don't mind like a minor customizing job here and there. Gives some figures a lil' more character. For instance, back when I got Battle Blade Bumblebee...the next day, I saw a picture of the Camaro ZL1, which had this nice black trim along the bottom. Immediately decided to take a black Sharpie to Battle Blade Bumblebee. Turned out so well, I did the same thing to my Reveal the Shield Bumblebee (that gaudy safety orange repaint of Classics Bumblebee with the very Movie inspired black racing stripes). Little stuff like that is nice to do. I need to hunt down some Gundam Markers...yesss!!
Pretty sure TF Direct still did when I paid the balance on my pre-order earlier today. Can't speak to their delivery times etc though only my second order ever with them and my first got dispatched a few days ago.
