I haven't heard of anyone having this issue before. You might just have to widen the peg hole a bit or something, although I'd want to be totally sure that's the problem first and not something else.

I think I remember that part. I also struggled hard during my first transformation but I kept applying force and it eventually tabbed :lolol  no issues ever since and it's running more smoothly now. I only had issues with one leg.

Yeah, a smarter idea than mine. Alternatively shave the peg a little.

Yeah, I tried applying pressure to the tab in, and it looks like a side of the plastic hole was scrapped/dented in from that pressure, so I think filing the hole should hopefully fix the problem. Do you have a file tool you recommend for a small hole such as that?

I just got this guy on Tuesday and was having the same issue. It turns out I wasn't keeping the spring compressed enough when I went to tab it in so it wasn't lined up properly. Also, as scary as it is the first few times it needed a lot more force than I expected but after doing it a few times it's made it easier to tab in.

Of the movie TFs, this ones easily the most fun to transform, robot mode looks great and the alt-mode is gorgeous. Kinda considering buying another one(or one of those KOs to save my wallet from burning) just to display one in car mode

I'm exactly the same way. Kind of crazy that you can get KO of this and Peru kill for the original price of either figure.

Definitely has to be one of the best perks one could acquire.

Edit: I did have to use some loose joint stuff on his ab crunch though. That thing was loosey goosey. The rear view mirrors also needed to be super glued. Overall this figure is A+!

Transformation of this figure is fluid and smooth. Like the high range of movement that this Hot Rod can pose

My first issue has one incredibly loose knee that really blunted my affection for the figure. I'm wondering about double-dipping or trying the KO to see if I can catch the hype.
