Well, you know... WFC Ultra Magnus looks like his G1 self in robot mode, but his car carrier mode homages RID Ultra Magnus. Might not be too far a reach to wonder if WFC Rodimus will look like his G1 self in robot mode, but his truck mode will homage RID Optimus Prime... a fire truck, of course.  

 

Yeah that just looks goofy. A dinosaur with a bad hair day is just not cool to me.

 

Dragons exist in the TF worlds, they aren't afraid to shy away from strict scientific accuracy.

 

I think it can depend how the feathers are done, I've seen some wicked cool pretty baller feathered Dino do-overs that improve the looks but equally I've seen some goofy-@$$ looking takes too.

I pity the fool who cannot see the cool in a maned T-Rex that rules to a capital "T"!

It makes me wonder is they’ll do a NYCC at home like they did with SDCC. or they’ll do a fan first Friday like they did on the Friday before the convention.

I saw in one of the other threads discussing Kingdom in the News forum that Hasbro is planning a Pulsecon sort of deal in August/September. That may be where they unveil Kingdom (along with end of Earthrise, SS86 and Netflix wave 3).

With how Hasbro's pushing hard for familiarity with not just with the G1 cast but for every other TF era such as BW, it's more likely that they'll have the BW cast to be more like how they originally looked. It's the reason why the Dinobots in POTP were basically their original looks as opposed to making them be more like Modern Dinosaurs.

There's also Blaster,Wreck Gar,Windblade,Sandstorm,and Nautica to consider.

I think it'll make more sense to make Rodimus have his Energon alt mode instead which is a long nose truck which can in turn be used to give us a G2 Combat Hero Optimus Prime figure out of.

 

Giant robots exist in their world as well.
