Way too beefy for my taste.

But, then, again, I am not a customer for statues. I prefer transforming Transformers.

Nice, but what I really would like to see is a new Bludgeon figure for WFC. He's ready for an update.

Hopefully they don't make too many of these because I just don't see too many people buying...

Same here. I’ve been using the Hunt for the Decepticons version. Still badass after all these years.
And Lockdown. I thought he woulda been great for Seige but perfect for Earthrise considering his bounty hunter status, hunting robots in disguise.

I\'m supposed that the statue didn\'t bondage the original Pretender design, as there\'s not really ever been a detailed, official update to this form-factor, plus, as a Pretender it doesn\'t even need to transform.

In fact wouldn\'t it be great for a company to officially make fully articulated pretender shells, which merely open up, allowing us to pop and compatibly-sized official TF toy inside? Plus, just by \"coincidence\", Hasbro started to release figures of the inside bots that just happened, by pure chance, to fit inside the officially released shells?

As long as the shells didn\'t cost ludicrous amounts of money, I\'d say it would be win-win.

This look would be ideal for a Knightverse incarnation.

HFTD Bludgeon is an awesome figure. One of the best examples of a Movieverse design enhancing a G1 character.

Which is funny given that evolved from an Energon era design that wasn't put into production.

Regardless, NEST Bludgeon is a fantastic looking figure, his one flaw being the poorly designed hands that snap after one too many times of having him hold his sword.

You sent me to TFWiki with that Energon factoid -- turns out the original design was by Don Figueroa, which explains a lot. I'd love to see a Generations-style take that isn't a Pretender.

My copy of Bludgeon's hands are still intact, but his sword has always been a little bent.

Honestly, I find that NEST Bludgeon pretty much hits all the bullet points I could want from a transforming Bludgeon for Generations/my "Neo-G1" lineups. I mean, he even turns into a Japanese tank. Mine just has the sword shoved into the tank barrel because it bends over time if left in the hip sheath and I'm not putting it back in his hands after they snapped when trying to get him to hold it...and then snapped again after the superglue failed...this time I used plastic cement but that sword is not going back in his hands.

In what universe is that Bludgeon?

More power to those who like it.

Neat. I love Bludgeon, and this still looks kiiiiiinda based on his ROTF toy, which has pretty much become his de-facto look.

    Rotf-bludgeon-comics-uftu-1.jpg

    And I LOVE that look.
I don't buy statues so this isn't for me, and if it was I'd really want some kind of skull face on it, but it's pretty cool that this guy is even getting this kind of product.
