Kind of hard to resist isn't it. I have a red ax being made for me by a coworker. I already have a accurate gun for him that I got two Reston botcons ago.

Anyone getting MP-49 Black Convoy make sure you check the antenna on the second accessory head as the left one on mine is SEVERELY damaged out of the package. It is about half the height it is supposed to be and is twice as thick front to back that it is supposed to be. I am returning it to Amazon JP for another one. Just glad it is sold by Amazon JP and not a third party seller so I do not have to eat the return shipping charges.

That seriously sucks man. I hate it when I get one of the really egregious QC issues like the one you are describing.

My MP-44 had two left hands out of the box. Guess I have bad luck when it comes to masterpiece releases.

I still need to fix one of the knees on my MP 44. I might tackle that project this weekend. I think it just needs to be opened up and a drop of glue strategically applied, but still a hassle, especially given that I paid $325 for the thing.

Both of my knees are solid at least for now. As long as you move things in the right order they stay that way at least for me.

Fortunately there doesn't seem to be any qc issues on mine, since it would have a little more awkward to interact with amazon support using vbann as a proxy so that's good

My MP-44 has been sitting off to the side awaiting a repair for the past 8 months or so. Currently on leg is amputated at the knee.

Returning an item from Amazon Japan is not nearly as easy as they lead you on to believe. You cannot do it at a partner site like UPS or Postal Etc.; you have to go to a full blown DHL Express location. What a pain in the a**. Guess I will have to go out to Dulles next week. Going to wait till I get my replacement and keep the better of the two. Seems some peoples' copies have limp knees so I will check them both before deciding on which will be the keeper.

Miss meeting up with you guys. Though I feel like me, @Trash Panzer, and @Razerwire keep being minutes from running into each other at Mosaic Target.

Been all right - thanks for checking.

Moved since the last time folks gathered. Still in Northern VA, but in Alexandria/Fairfax now...rather than Arlington. Working on setting up my new man cave as I type this. Looking forward to showing everyone at a future meetup someday.

Got my first dose of good ole' Pfizer last week and get my second dose on April 12th. I figure we can start gathering again (maybe at the gazebo thing in front of Henry's house?) once more of us have been vaccinated. Looking forward to seeing people again.

Oh...and I am still waiting for my shipping notice from Haslab. Very sore about this. Should have ordered from Eddie.

I had both of my Moderna back in January/February (I am in healthcare and my employer got me done). The idea of meeting across from Henry's house works really well. We can all bring sports chairs and make a circle in the grass and just commune. Once the weather gets a little warmer we could have a meetup with those comfortable with doing so. They are opening up 2a, 2b, and 2c in the next month and most pharmacies will be giving the vaccine so it will become easier to obtain.

I don't mind doing it here. There is a small outdoor grill pit and with some help I can also wheel my grill over depending on how many folks show up.

I had my first shot of the vaccine two weeks ago and will be able to get the second dose as early as 4/2. I'm down with with doing the gazebo as a hangout as more of us are vaccinated. My Unicron has arrived, but I'm not opening it until after I move around May/June.
