I first wrote this story back in 2014-2015 as the culmination of my Transversal Continuity that I'd been working on for the best part of a decade by that stage. I pitched it to IDW in 2015 as a 4-issue miniseries to celebrate the Beast Wars 20th Anniversary the following year. Given the sheer lack of official recognition the Anniversary received, it won't surprise you to learn that I was unsuccessful.

Towards the end of last year, I began reworking the story and pitched it again. This time, in what is good news for Beast Wars fans (but disappointing to me on an individual level), IDW already had plans underway for a Beast Wars story to celebrate the 25th Anniversary next year.

so for kingdom it looks like the main season one cast, if judging by the poster of course, what's the consensus for size classes per character? and other than who's on the poster who else do we think is realistically getting updates?

Can anyone recommend a good place to buy 3rd party transformers with decent shipping rates for the uk? I was using kapow toys and as much is I really enjoyed using them I have found they’re stocking less and less 3rd party figures. So found myself ordering through show z but now they’ve upped their shipping charge to £43 I think it is, with no option for free delivery as there once was.

 

Are you shitting me with that shipping price?! That has to be express shipping for over 2kg packages or something. My Tigatrons are are coming from Show-Z so I really hope I don’t get screwed on shipping. They’ve been holding a KO DOTM Shockwave for me for ages with no news about potential ship dates or asking if I want to pay to ship- just perpetual limbo.

my pre orders seem fine in regards to the shipping, nothing seems to have changed but I went to check out the generation toy white gorilla and they added the £43 shipping on it with no choice for any other shipping. So I tried checking out a transform element Scorponok to see what the shipping options were on that, unfortunately exactly the same. I’ve messaged them through Facebook so hope to get an update soon. Regarding new distributors, I’ve messaged tfsource to see what their shipping costs are for the uk, but ones like bbts and robot kingdom didn’t seem to stock the transart optimus primal or Any of the transform element figures, so I do t fancy using them. I’ll try the ones you’ve recommended though! Thanks

 

Ive trialled a few in stock items and it seems to be relative to size of the package- TE Scorponok makes no sense because he’s tiny but not in stock yet so that could result in the pricey option appearing as default.
There’s no free option for UK on anything as far as I could tell- US has of course- but looks like there’s no standard shipping option for any larger figures- only express.

I avoid using US based stores at all costs because the shipping will always be ludicrous and I’ve never not been pounded by customs even for small packets which were marked at a $20 value.
