Stopped into a Target today after a Zoom lunch with my sister. Was surprised to find Roadbuster and Soundwave from DOTM on the shelves. What was even more surprising, was Target had a $3 off sale on Deluxes...so, I made a snap decision!

Ever since the DOTM wreckers released in 2011 failed to give us all of the Wreckers in their armored-up mode in just one scale, I had hoped Hasbro would do things right. It helps that Roadbuster seems to be in scale (vehicle-wise) to the Deluxe Topspin I got back in 2011.

Almost didn't get Soundwave, but given the price, it was a 'what the heck' moment. Not sure if I'll ever transform him into the Mercedes mode since he was largely in bot-form throughout the film.

So far, the recent DOTM releases including Sentinel Prime, have gotten me to fork over the money. Hopefully my friend can nab me a Leadfoot in September, and my long national nightmare will be over, giving me three uniform Wreckers to display. Sure they were over-the-top vehicle-wise, but the designs just brought out my inner 9-year-old when seeing them on the streets of Chicago 10 years ago.

My replacement parts for Zeus Shockwave arrived with this little guy, since i was gonna pay for shipping and customs anyway. He meant to be a standalone desk/ pocket toy buy i am impressed, may be i should start a legends g1 collection.

My last extant shipment arrived. Until MP Nemesis Prime and SS Overload hit my POL I have nothing on the way for the first time since the Seacons started shipping.

It’s kinda relaxing.

 

My Target was right in the middle of their reset this morning. They had toys strewn all over the place. I actually sighted a Scorponok on the bottom of one of their carts. Sadly I had to leave it there. Just couldn’t afford to drop that much money on it right now, stupid adult responsibilities. Didn’t see anything else new, so I moved on to Walmart.

My Walmart has been really pathetic during this whole drama, but they do have their planagram sheets hanging up. Nothing is moved yet, but hopefully soon they’ll have some new stuff out. At least more than what I found there this morning, a very paltry consolation prize compared to Scorponok.

Cyberverse Arcee honestly isn’t bad, she just wasn’t what I was looking for this morning so it casts a pall on my enjoyment of her. Oh well, at least knowing the resets are happening means I’ll see something soon.

TFTM Leader Brawl, Deep Desert scheme (he's missing one of the forearm claws and the two secondary turret cannons, the former is negligible since he still has one of the claws and the latter I don't mind because Brawl's tank mode is fictional - it's literally a 'stealth tank' from xXx State of the Union - so I figure I'll pass this one off as a variant tank. Its not like he's exactly in dire need of enough firepower to level a city block as it is)
