It's the last series, but I have the feeling there will be a huge crossover movie to finish things. GDT has made a cryptic statement about there being something beyond Wizards, and 10 episodes strikes me as being too short to be the final chapter of the entire saga, especially since none of the 3Below characters are in sight.
Can't believe I almost forgot this was coming out tomorrow. It'll be fun binge watching the last part of the Arcadia Trilogy.
and here is the first teaser for the crossover between all 3 shows- "Rise of the Titans." https://twitter.com/talesofarcadia/status/1291705146200616961
Ah, so this is the true culmination. I wonder if we’ll be getting some Pacific Rim vibes with these supposed Titans.
Just started watching this. Man... if it were me it would certainly be a case of never meet your heroes right now. Arthur is kind of a dick. Otherwise, this seems fun so far. Huh, interesting. So this is going to be the real final huh? Shame we'll have to wait until some time next year. Especially since Wizards is only ten episodes. I wonder if we're talking like the Titans from Greek Mythology? Or something similar?
I think that Wizards being only one season was a sign the show was bound to keep its ending open enough for a future story. Final instalments don't have as much clout as they used to, but part of that comes from people wanting to see more. I'm sure Arcadia will continue on, even after the film, with a new generation of stories/characters.
Did they ever say if they were gonna continue 5 below? I actually kinda liked that show. I know it’s not trolll hunters but don’t they take place in the same universe.
Uh... the shows are all tied to each other. This is supposed to endcap all of them. Wizards is set after the events of Trollhunters and 5 Below. Krel even shows up in the later half of the series after his sister has left for their homeworld. So, yeah, in that sense the character's stories are being progressed as intended by Del Toro.
