The next shot should be Sky Dive flat on the floor cradling his arm.

peg on the neutral face broke when I tried to remove it(awkward way to change a face).

Nice pose-ability, don't mind the autobot symbol I know it's too small. Was best I could do from leftovers on MP inferno Toyhax set after my tweezers ripped a chunk out the one I wanted to use, will need to get more ordered.

Transformation was a bitch but he looks good, worried about transforming him back with how awkward a few of the bits were.

I’m certainly not going to challenge anyone’s opinion of whether it is difficult or not, but I too found it to be rather easy.

Not really the leg transformation was awkward and could easily scratch the red paint of the waist because of the poor clearance and the tail panel has poor clearance over the black panels on the back of the legs, the wing hinges are so tight on mine the pop out of place when I try to move them(pop straight back in but still). Glad you don't find it difficult.

When it comes to the Aerialbots, master the hinges and you are good.

The legs and hips, yeah, they're not great. The wing hinges should be fine if you do them in the correct order and don't rush them.

I think it’s a bit of a shame that Goose was nice and straight forward but Iceman is fiddly and awkward. Getting the legs to collapse is way to hard unless they’re right out to the side. Those flaps on the back of the legs are way too difficult etc. Just a few little things makes a difference to the fun of flipping between modes...

Fully agree. Goose is my fave Fanstoys figure but Iceman is IMHO all that's wrong with them, in a semi-acceptable format. The back end of the jet screams "looked OK in CAD but barely fits together in real life". Legs are semi-OK on mine but getting that inner calf panel to pop up and out is not a pleasant experience.

I believe he comes off as marginally acceptable because of his size; same engineering and tolerances on something smaller would be even less fun.

There are a couple tricks to getting the transformation down. First yes, you have to put his legs all the way out to the side to collapse them correctly. I'm not sure why this is a big deal, its not to me. Second, don't close his legs together until you have the the armature for the jet past the black parts on the back of the legs. once the armature is past them it fits together easily and you can close the legs. You do have to have everything lined up and you have to fiddle a bit to tab everything in. Is this ideal? no, but I think some people are taking things a tad far. Yes I do wish he had a waist swivel and I do think they could have accomplished this with another pass at the design. This figure is way cheaper than an official TT figure of the same size and complexity. I got mine for $115 shipped. I feel this is a premium high end collectible transforming figure that represents the character very well indeed. I do think that the Stunticons have been better realized though.

Anyone know why this bit on above the feet opens? Is this a possible combined mode thing? IMG_20200729_072015.jpg
And I finally gave up trying to get the backpack right myself and watched emgo's review to get it right so I could get a bot mode team shot. IMG_20200729_080903.jpg

99% sure it's a combined mode thing. Same reason why Goose has holes. If you look at the renders of Superion on the first page you'll see flaps on the Superion feet that tab into the sides of their feet, and longer tabs that reach up over their feet and (presumably) connect to their shins.

Just wondering if anyone else noticed that the silverbolt is still sold out at bbts but they jumped the price to $300.

Kind of a shame that even online stores get in on the price gouge when these things sell out.

    No fiddling required.

I think another joint in the metal linkage would do the trick.

You know Ford is going to be selling the new bronco for over the MSRP for a couple years because so many people want them, but ford can only make so many?

it’s like there is some strange natural law. Some forgotten wisdom no longer taught in schools involving supply Of something verses how much people want something.

Finally decided to get my Iceman shipped from BBTS recently, and was interested to find that he came with an unexpected pre-order bonus: a hair, lodged between two panels in the shin. It took a lot of pulling, poking, and prodding to get it out.

Anyway, who wants a 100% authentic dalianjj hair? Bidding starts at $2000

I was going to bid on that but once I started thinking about it, I'd probably go through all the effort to clone from it and I'd end up with a clone of QC 32. Then he'd sit around my house breaking stuff and putting those green stickers on everything. o_O

Not really this isn't about a law. This is about fairness. There is more to it than just harsh economics.

There seems to be an even number of people who either have huge trouble transforming Iceman, or find it relatively easy.
It makes me wonder if there isn’t something making a difference. Perhaps a batch of joints that gives a little more movement, or a panel fitted in a way that just allows that slight extra clearance that’s needed.
I’m in the easy transformation batch and don’t see anything on mine that could cause the problems others are seeing, but don’t believe that people aren’t honestly having trouble with it.
