I never liked the look of mp-3’s paint scheme but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t need this!! I doubt Takara will ever release the mold in these colors but I may just have to buy 2 and try my hand at air brushing (just got into that hobby so I’ll make sure to practice a bunch before this guy comes out haha)!!

Fingers crossed! would be nice to see a cockpit that lives up to even @David Hingtgen 's standards... maybe an actual painted Dr Ark, this time too.
That's somewhat a relief Sam, these 3 have been stitched up way too many times now.

You can count me out on that sir #NoMoreSwirlyPlastic, clear coated or not. My MP Artfire is heavily painted and durable as a rock, they just need to get the paint chemistry correct and keep the tolerances fair.
MP Seekers have never ever received a cartoon accurate coat of paint, they deserve it after all these years and for the price they are going to gouache us for.

 

Great work, dude! Unlike some I generally like the recessed intakes, larger head and body proportions. Literally my only doubt about the overall look of this guy - and the only thing a step back from MP11 - is that back flap of the wings being visible behind the crotch piece. When you look at say, Skywarp with the black over pale grey, it brings it home that it does harm the crispness of the outline somewhat from the front.

Hope it can be lifted up out of the way, as the back view does show that section on a hinge?

I'll be removing it entirely, if not, as I hardly transform my MP's at all. Easy fix!

Failing that, who's to say at this stage there won't be tweaks between these CAD drawings and the prototype? They are so close to perfection, might as well go the full hog to the finish line.  

Also, any chance of him being wheeled out at the fan expo thing today? I'm overreaching aren't I? Okay ...
