I love this. I’ve seen few members here also recreate this cover. I did one a year or so ago and @Agent 539 did one too. I love seeing Spider-Man interact with transformers, especially the black suit.

 

The man. The myth. The Legend. Mr. Optimus Prime, Peter Cullen, turns 79 today.

Wonder when we'll see a 2.0, and/or an Earthrise figure.

I feel like he's been overlooked in almost every recent toy line.

 

I see no reason to replace the existing figures for him, they suit quite well.
I'd rather other missed characters get a shot at the lime light.

The MP versions are beautifull and I once too had planned to have a special subdivision of my MP's for diaclone and G2 repaints.

But I've come to realise that in the end the interest isn't big enough, while these figures are too big for this. I decided some time ago to turn to 3rd party legends for my alternate deco's. They take up a whole lot less space and they are far more willing to release alternate deco's than TT seems to be.

 

I hope they re-issue MP-44 with the fixes (knees, less paint chipping) and without the accessories (I have the first edition of MP-44, so I don't need that   ).

 

I do hope they eventually release just the cab with a few accessories. I like having a second copy for alt mode display but I don't need a second trailer etc.

I also REALLY appreciate the smaller box for MP-49! I'm hoping the new seekers also have smaller boxes. My MP empty box collection is getting out of hand.

I was tempted by Nemesis Prime, but after seeing he isn’t covered by glossy paint I’m a tad let down. Glad I didn’t try to pick him up. I’m also disappointed they altered the knee design to such an extent that the original mechanism no longer works the way intended. I get that it’s easier, but it was so cleverly designed...ah well. Sorry guys, not trying to be a downer  

 

It definitely does make more sense to run with core characters for an MP collection and look elsewhere for oddball stuff.
