    Fanstoys FT-17 Hoodlum (Masterpiece Hot Rod). I used it on my 3d printed shoulder upgrade parts and it's perfect.

    They sent me touch-up paint which was clumpy & unusable. so I reached out to them again and they sent me a whole new hood piece! It was awesome.

    i asked for the paint bottles as well as the foam protector i've seen here, but they sent me a replacement hood instead.....Kept that in storage and happy to scuff away at the original......:)

    Last year after I got mine I emailed them pics of the paint chiping on the edge of the hood and ask them to send me a touch up paint kit which they did send and I received it.

    So happy to be done with fanstoys...their products 9 times out of 10 are more trouble than theyre worth.
    Ive NEVER had to go through all the crap with other companies like i did with fanstoys.
    Seems to ALWAYS be SOMETHING HORRENDOUSLY WRONG with each and every single release since quakewave.

    Thanks! I saw your post a while back. I don't have Hoodlum myself but I need some touch-up paint for Sheridan. I wanted to see if Fanstoys actually did help out in providing touch-up paint for previous releases and Hoodlum was the first thing that popped in my head.

    How's the results?

    Did the paint work out?

    Yes. I painted it using a microscope at work. it blended in perfectly.

    Sometimes you just get lemons. I have been fortunate because I enjoy their figures. The couple of times that I did have trouble, their customer service was great. I am not a fanboy by any means but their figures are great if you’re a display-type of collector.

    But then I also accept that most, if not all of these companies, will have some problems with production. My Hasbro Earthrise Grapple broke on the first transformation. Patience in this hobby is a must.

    That's too harsh IMO - while it certainly didn't turn out to be the 100% objectively superior replacement that so many hoped it would be (for a number of reasons), it's still a very viable alternative if you don't like some of the official's divisive design choices. There's nothing wrong with Hoodlum being a lateral move from the TT version, it just gives buyers more choice.
