Allen still has BY FAR the coolest helicopter mode of any of the Springers, and there's a lot I love about his hulking bruiser aesthetic. I figured I'd have gotten rid of him by now but I just can't bring myself to, it's in copter mode RN and it just looks too good to let go, LOL

(O&P is in car mode right now, and same thing... it's BY FAR the best Springer car mode and I like the engineering they used to make the windshield wider)

Same here. Allen will always have a place in my collection.

 

i adore this figure, so ive made some upgrades for him - a handsome new face, and toe covers for bot mode to hide that yellow.

 

Nice those two were my biggest issues with him. I fixed the rest with a repaint.

 

Allen still is my Springer because he's the only bulky option that ties together that stupidly gigantic Ultra Magnus and the rest of the team. Think I like MMC Saltus the best. (XTB Virtus has also been looking promising for almost a decade.) But as long as there won't be a smaller Ultra Magnus I'm good the way everything is.

Oh, and that new face by @jesslynMMC looks much better than the stock one.

Allen is one of the few toys I regret selling. Apache is definitely the better Springer, but Allen is such a fun and enjoyable toy to play with. Ultimately it’s the strange color choices that does him in, but as a playable toy it’s second to none.

 

 

the print files are on thingiverse for free. if you dont have access to a printer you could download them from there to have printed at somewhere like shapeways

 

I just got this. Really enjoying it. It is very well done

 

just got mine today he’s really nice love the chunky ness wish he had more hand articulation

 

I'm still not ready to sell mine. None of the other options fully convinces me and when I look at some screengrabs, bulky Allen still looks closest to the animation. If his feet weren't so fat, yellow and ugly I wouldn't even look out for another Springer. Virtus looks great but he's a bit slim.

 

sorry to revive a dead thread but does anyone know if the KFC toy kp13 poseable hands would work with unique toys Allen?
