My collection is similarly cherry picked. Astonishing Kitty with Outback Storm and Bendis Magik etc etc etc. Whedon is the X-Men to me. Like sure, it builds off of Claremont, and what doesn't, but I feel like the books have been spinning their wheels for most twenty years waiting for another run like that. Tom Taylor could have done it if they let him stay longer.
Went discount multiple times at online retailers and it seemed every TRU had it during the going out of business sales. I wasn’t really into it so I wasn’t gonna buy it unless went under $50. To me that was the last suit Cyclops wore as really being part of the X-Men. Everything after Second Coming is 90% trash and he was off being the villain for no reason instead.
I thought that set was a TRU-exclusive? What online retailers had it on discount? I saw it once, at one TRU, for full price. I really hope Hasbro revisits some of most of those characters with single-carded versions.
Has anyone's retro wave actually made it to Fedex? They shipped all of my other stuff via UPS and its already in Texas.
Huh, my retro Spidey stuff shipped via UPS and should be here tomorrow. FedEx has a habit of taking at least a day or two to pick crap up from what I've seen once the tracking is uploaded. Happens constantly with Pulse and BBTS and on the rare occasion Target or Wally World use FedEx.
You know, I've always liked the concept of Moon Knight, but I've never actually have ever read a Moon Knight comic. I should do that at some point if they ever release an Omnibus collecting his early stuff.
Just got this guy at Target today. The reset was done and these were out. Ship in a case of four apparently. Spidey Retro tags were up too, but none in stock sadly since I still need a Spidey .
