I dunno with the sweep back of the wings hiding a proper full lateral viewing, though that back looks clean as a drawing I think it looks like there's quite posssibly a lot of panel origami going on there.

I’ve done well, Mrs B got me some lovely new trainers (Air Force 1s) and bought me another Kallax for the mancave, so bot storage is always gratefully received. Old man sent me some cash so that will undoubtedly go on some form of plastic crack!

due to 30 years of trawling for second hand WH whilst I indulge in boots and TFs, I have built up a massive 'mound of shame' to paint, well, mostly paint-over what someone else has done before 9is that still shame, maybe not), and the beakies go so well on bikes, I do love a WH bike (odd as I cant stand TF bikes, except Oil Slick, nooch), I mostly bought the new box set due to the hyperbole...and the bikes.

Looks brilliant, love the cleanliness of it, and room for more to display!
If I may suggest, even the cheaper sound bars are pretty good quality now, and you could plug your IPod into it too, my Bush one sounds amazing on top of my TF shelves!
(Although admittedly I am close to spending 355 quid on renovating my Naim NAC-32 to have a 'proper' set -up somewhere....).

Thanks man. To be fair, that speaker my iPod is plugged into is a Bose one, and it throws out a lot of noise! Works as a charging station for when anyone stays over too, so is a useful thing to have.

Watching beast wars with the sprog and my gosh I'd forgotten how well written it is. Really is a Sci fi show first and manages to balance just the right level of 90s grittines so as not to talk down to its audience on par with what xmen did as a show.

His verdicts are rattrap is his fave, waspinator is "so funny him" and code of hero was the best episode he's watched so far.

Nothing but love for that helmet design, by far my favourite

As someone who doesn’t own the extra kits for the T30, he’s ticking all the right boxes for the Gee-Wunner in me. Plenty of chunk, the sculpt is on point and he proportions better than his G1 namesake - it’s a win for me.

If I was being picky I’d like to have seen the hands hide away better in vehicle mode, but at a deluxe price point I may be being overly critical.

Suffice to say, I’ll deffo be grabbing Trailbreaker!

 

British retailers issue warning over potential online sales tax

Oh, that'll do wonders for toy prices... and everything else.

I don't do much in the way of street shopping and haven't done for years because the shops usually have little stock for anything and are miles away. I'd have to travel round quite a few B&Ms to find plasterboard screws, for instance, or spend time and more money in Screwfix or dear hole B&Q. Meanwhile Amazon will sell me 50 for a fraction of any of that.

I'm sorry, but I have no intention of propping up the high street. Almost everything about it costs me more money unless it's a discount store, and even then there's the cost of travelling.

If the high street is so inherently fragile there's bigger questions to be asked than, 'Should we blame e-tailers and tax them?'. Business rates are only a small part of an ongoing process from the 90s, but especially during the crisis.

 

We already pay tax on online items. It's called VAT. Bunch of arses.

Unless they're going to scrap the 20% VAT and replace it with 2%. Seems odd.

Why don't they just go after Facebook and Amazon and ask them to pay their tax bill in full.

Preserving the Highstreet. What a bunch of nonsense. It’s because the old farts in power think “thing I grew up with=better than modern equivalent” and so anything they have nostalgia for is wonderful and must be preserved and bowed down to, even when it isn’t in the country’s better interest to do so.

half the highstreet is probably foreign-owned at this point (could be wrong on that) so it’s not even helping British businesses. Putting additional VAT on online purchases sure as hell won’t help all the ONLINE British businesses, but at this point it’s just old farts doing things to appeal to old fart voters as apposed to making rational decisions.

 

Seekers verdict: It's my first time with the mould, and they're both very well executed. Skywarp has beautiful colours, which make up for his slightly odd expression. Lovely plane modes too

I think I prefer the tetrajet very slightly, so I'll probably stick to my plan of keeping my Siege Starscream alongside these two. I quite like the idea of Screamer being a bit different in the display.

And with those, I'm now Frenzy & Buzzsaw short of an updated S1 Decepticon cast. Which is something that I would never have thought possible only a couple of years ago!

Quick edit: Since I work in a high street shop, I'd quite like them to stay open. I don't think making shopping online more expensive is the way to go though. To be honest, free parking would probably help more...

 

Bits that caught my eye:

• Nearly all of Hasbro's partner factories and warehouses are currently open and operating.
• China: Third-party factories in China represent approximately 55% of the Company's manufacturing production. These factories have been operating at normal levels since early in the second quarter, are caught up on missed production and are picking up capacity from other locations closed during the second quarter.
• Outside of China: From mid-March to mid-May, manufacturing production outside of China, namely in the U.S., Ireland and India, was shutdown. These locations are operating and anticipate catching up on missed production by the latter part of the third quarter 2020, assuming no major future shutdowns in production. India production is continuing but there have been further lockdowns within the country in recent weeks.

• We are closely monitoring credit for our customers; Three largest customers remain Walmart, Target and Amazon (yay for exclusives emoji for sarcy eyes)

I think Rishi knows he's about to get the blame for the high street collapsing on top of all the other businesses going to the wall. So you watch them make Amazon the bad guy, probably by brass necking it, bringing up how it doesn't pay tax!

@Risk Manufacturing in Ireland? Could see them dodging tax there, but that's it!

 

Mine showed today too, clearly Royal Mail feeling the strain staff wise too!
