Curious if NP 3.0 fixed any of OP 3.0's problems (mainly the knees).

@Sam , I'd be just fine with daily shots of your OP, BB & Megatron collection!

Amazing collection, @Arduous ! And never seen that OP MP-10 deco in person but it looks like a beaut in your shot!

From what I've seen and read, the knee on NP is a new piece.

They are the eyes that should have come with Ultra Magnus originally. I’d suggest just buying Delta Magnus and not only do you get the best masterpiece figure ever made but you also get two sets of eyes for your Ultra Magnus. Win win. BC88126E-9913-4968-985A-427D8482CE86.jpeg

Even though Hound has his problems, the Spike he comes with makes up for a good chunk of the frustration!

This guy is so fun to mess with, so posible, and just adds lots of fun to any figure:

A good third of my mps can’t even pull off this pose!!!

And this just adds so much character to an already great alt mode!

Haven’t bought an MP since Megatron a few years back. Any suggestions on where to pick back up with the line? I know the most recent ones have had their fair shares of unacceptable issues. I want to pick up Hound, but I don’t know if current runs of the figure are still piles of green dust.

I’d definitely say wait for a reissue regarding Hound; I originally thought my copy was one of the exceptions to the cosmic (plastic?) rust fiasco as it was in pristine condition even after tens of transformations for about the first 4 months. Unfortunately I am learning the hard way that every copy will most likely develop fractures sooner or later, as now, whenever I as much as glance at him, I find at least 1 more crack. Although glue certainly makes him playable again, it doesn’t encourage me to handle him as that just gives me more anxiety than it’s worth:( .

Now, as far as a good place to pick back up with the mp line, I %100000 recommend the Sunstreaker mold. That guy has come to college with me and has been fiddled with to no end! One of his leg panels has developed a fracture right at the pinned joint, but even after a bunch more transformations, it’s still holding strong. Plus, the reissue may not even have that problem; I’m not completely sure. Either way, I don’t think you’d regret buying the mp-39 mold!

I’m also a huge fan of BB 2.0 although many have mixed feeings reguardong that little guy. Personally, my copy is very sturdy—sans a slightly loose elbow—and his transformation is one that I love to go through over and over again!

Other than those two, OP 3.0 is AMAZING! There are easy fixes for the loose waist and knees (although mine are still intact), and if you’re reasonably careful, the paint should remain unscratched for the most part. Just another great figure, that to me at least, is worth the price!

Lastly, and this is a short one, any of the pluses are great and might be a more familiar and easier slide back into things! (Full transparency, I only own the + versions of Wheeljack, Megatron, and Sideswipe, but from what I’ve heard about the others, they’re just as good!)

Hope this helps, man, and I hope you end up enjoying whatever figure(s) you decide to go in on!!
