I'd take many of these characters! I still hope they do those little elf guys too. My only fear is Death Adder and the other big guys is that Storm will just make them gigantic.

Golden Axe is set in medieval fantasy but I'm convinced it is actually a post nuclear apocalyptic period happening in either California or Florida because of the Speedos and two piece bikinis.

Close -- it's actually modern day Florida.

We’re talking the Japanese doing medieval fantasy 30 years ago. Japan also set at least 25 years of anime series in baroque 17th century Europe.

:lol  Only if you're further south in Florida... us northern and mid-state Floridians are mostly normal... unless you go to a rural area and all bets are off! :lol

What is “mostly normal” by Floridian standards?

I love Florida. It’s like a reduction and amplification of everything America is about. Individualism, wealth, rural America, immigration, crazy young people, tons of old people. It’s like stuffing every American extreme on an island and setting in on slow rolling boil.

I was going to hang off from buying Axe Battler since I just finished buying parts for a new computer, but as I noticed stock go in and out and being a huge Sword and Sorcery and Boris Vallejo/Julie Bell fan, I ordered one while I could. I'd kick myself if I let one of the two artist-specific barbarian characters I enjoy go into marked up price territory (the other being the Mezco Frazetta Conan figure, safely under preorder in BBTS)

Bane, Doomsday, and Darkseid... can anyone prefer one of these over the others? Looking to add one to my 6" figures.

Huh sold out at BBTS? I wonder if they just ordered none. I really hope it’s selling well, the Skeletons just came in and I’m thinking about a second set. Mostly cause I loved Jason and the Argonauts and what’s cooler than skeleton warriors.

Seems on and off for the Axe Battler August pre-order for Big Bad. It was out of stock before I ordered from Amazon, back available a little after I bought it, and out of stock again when I checked right before typing this. The skeletons just came in for BBTS and just ordered a set to complete my little Golden Axe set. I'm good when it comes to army building, but if the skeletons were to get discounted in the future, sure why not?
