I would prefer if the 13 Primes didn't even exist, IMO it's a lame idea that just adds another useless layer of pseudo-mysticism to the franchise instead of an actually interesting lore. I don't care about a baker's dozen of Shakespearean dead people and their stupid weapons pulled from rejected Indiana Jones scripts.

Agreed, thirteen primes is a really boring idea. A spin-off show for the thirteen primes just might be the most bland and uninteresting story choice for a tf show.

I'd rather we abandoned the shitty aligned 13 and actually got to see Simon Furman's plans since he, you know, came up with them in the first place. Maybe not a TV series but I'd love to see the Mini-series Furman pitched years ago that he never got to make before Aligned took a big steaming dump all over his concept.

I always thought I was the only one who liked the idea of the 13 Primes, its Primes other than Optimus over and over again. That alone is worth giving them their own show/movie.

If anything a show dedicated to only the 13 Primes and say the Knights of Cybetron would not only be my fanboy dream come true but it would also be the biggest breath of fresh air.

I love Optimus but I'm literally over it hes been in everything even in shows that don't even talk about him he still manages to creep his way in. I want a Transformers show with a brand new cast that doesn't rely on the G1nners.

They're fine to me as background lore elements. I like Vector Prime from Cybertron because he got to interact as part of the show but that was before he got ret-conned into being part of them.

I'm more than fine with shows focusing on a Prime other than Optimus. Optimus isn't my favorite Prime anyway.

But I'm not really a fan of the concept of the 13 Primes. For me, it's an offshoot of the Primus concept, and I'm really not a fan of that.

IIIIIIIIIII'm kind of in the middle.

On the one hand, I don't want the typical "13 apostles" approach that we've been getting since the Aligned continuity and instead go with a more Arthurian route.

I would have the Primes basically be sort of like the Knights of the Round Table, and they were the first people who arrived on Cybertron (they were created in Quintessa) and made it their home. Prima would be the equivalent of King Arthur, Solus would be Queen Guinevere, Liege Maximo would be Mordred, Vector Prime would kind of be the Merlin of the Primes, Megatronus would be a much more troubled Lancelot who falls for Mordred's manipulations, etc.

So yeah, I would basically make the Primes "LARPers" and not make them feel too much like mystical beings (unless it's Vector, since I picture him being the Merlin of the Primes).

I know it sounds silly, but it's just a thought I had.

I think if we did get a movie on the thirteen, it should be a anthology movie, focusing on each Prime and the role they fill.
We don't need 2 hours of 13 movies of characters the general audience is unfamiliar with.

Not if it's based on the Aligned continuity's take on the 13. Any concept introduced by Aligned needs to be purged along with those introduced by IDW.

Nah. I'd rather the focus be squarely on making TF cartoons and movies that suck as little as possible, and get the vi$ion$ of $pinoff$ dancing OUT of our heads already. You gotta walk before you can run.

Wow, I didn't realize there were people that hated the Thirteen this much. Me personally, I'd be down for it.

I like the idea of the Thirteen, I just hate everything the Aligned continuity and IDW have done to them.

    Steps to fix the 13.

    1) find a shrink ray

    2) wait till October.

    3) hop inside of gigawatt and time travel to 2007.

    4) scrap the alligned continuity

    5) Make. Sure. The. Primes. Get. Revealed. Slowly.

I'm fine with the idea of the Thirteen, but I do not think they are a strong enough concept to stand on their own. To me, they work best as a background element of Cybertron, or limited to one or two characters who just interact with/are part of the main cast, like Macadam in Cyberverse or Vector Prime in Cybertron.

If there has to be a Thirteen series, though, I'd like to see an attempt to consolidate the various bits and pieces of the Thirteen strewn throughout the franchise, like the characters that were tossed aside when Hasbro decided on the "final" group (Soundblaster & Hell Buzzsaw, for example), or the pseudo groups like the Covenant.

    YouTube (Legacy):
Not a movie since normal people may not know who the 13 Original Primes were and would most likely confuse it as a part of Bayformers. If it were a TV show, it say maybe, but there are many versions of their story.

They shouldn’t exist for very long after they beat Unicron back the first time. Decide to create Cybertronian society, make personal discoveries/advancements, have Megatronus go nuts, and we all know how it ends. That wouldn’t make for much of a show.

nah. But I do wanna see more of them on screen not just as crappy recolours of other characters but in the full glory they were intended to be.
