Yeah and his southern accent is pretty iconic. Anyway I hope it’s just a short clip thing that is making it hard to hear because not giving Ironhide his accent is like giving Optimus a high pitched voice .

 

Or they could've just swapped out cliffjumper for some other random bot. I of course haven't seen this show yet, but one of my big problems with the bey and knight movies was them using named characters for random redshirts.
If you need some random seeker to get blown up by Bee dont call him blitzwing. And if you just need a bot to do the classic sci-fi troupe of getting killed by something offscreen while sending out a last minute distress signal, just use a new character, heck they can even use Bee's CAD model, just color it blue or black or something (which would give them another excuse to resale that mold, but without craping on cliffjumper)

 

Oh man, if you don't like Ironhide, wait until you hear Shockwave.

I listened to the trailer again (thank you for Sharing  ) , Shockwave sounded good to me. I got no complaints.

And I didn’t say I didn’t like Ironhide’s voice (yet) I just think, from the ONE line, it sounded flat, but again it’s ONE line. To be honest it’s the first thing in everything I’ve seen of the WFC series that makes me nervous.

to be fair Ironhide (and Prowl) are my all time favorite Autobots after Optimus, so I am very bias towards red’s voice being right.

 

I wasn't expecting G1 drawl but the voice is way more Energon Ironhide than G1.

 

Yeah I can see (hear and fear) that, which is essentially the opposite of G1 Ironhide and by extension Siege Ironhide.

I am not unreasonable, it doesn’t have to be full on so southern it’s silly, but something in tune with the WFC video games would be welcomed.

Man that would be really wild if the VA watched the wrong Ironhide for inspiration  ....... wait that would suck.....  

 

Well, I see that they went for the lazy route and made Cliffjumper a red Bumblebee. Honestly, this was kind of disappointing. 

 

I hope they don’t make Hot Link just a different color starscream.

 

Normally I would say something like “well they would have to develop a new model for one scene etc.” but since they have the Cliffjumper CAD model that makes me concerned and want to ask why not use Cliff’s head?

So yes first short sneak peak (and I mean short) I walk away more nervous than excited, which is drastic inversion from where I was the minute before watching this clip.

Maybe I am overreacting and it will be awesome.

Good one  but to be fair Cliffjumper has never looked exactly like Bee.

 

Miles Luna, honestly, I was expecting his normal voice (which he uses for Felix, David, and Jaune Arc), but the fact that he`s not using his normal voice makes me wish that he`d use that voice more often, it makes it seem like he`s a different person

 

It's really not, at least not any version of G1 we have seen. It's a reboot and a new continuity

 

Cliffjumper looks way too Bumblebee-y.

 

I know it's not actually part of the original G1 continuity but DeSanto has repeatedly stated that Siege was developed with the idea of being a prequel to G1.

 

I would say it’s about as G1 as the IDW TF comics.

 

But like.. why not just give cliff his headsculpt that\'s literally all they had to change 

 

I understand if they're gonna give Cliffjumper Bumblebee's body as a Cybertronian body, since Bumblebee already doesn't match his WFC figure and I presume he'll get a new form in the show that more closely matches it, and Cliffjumper also will, but... couldn't they at least give him a properly Cliffjumper head? They already have the CAD file for it from the toy, and it would fit fine since everyone else seems to be basically directly based on their toys' CAD file.

 

I’m going to add my voice to the myriad of comments saying they should have made Cliffjumper look less like Bumblebee, and take it a step further.

I’m colourblind and I genuinely thought that was Bumblebee until I read otherwise. This is going to get really confusing.
