Scorponok and Sky Lynx are on their way in the same box. I'm expecting some shredded cardboard and a Sky Lynx with a Scorponok shaped lump in the middle of him, kinda like when Milhouse was eaten by the school snake.

 

Very emotional day for me today!
At the age of 4 in 1996, my parents bought me my first transformer. The Beast Wars Optimus Primal (bat) vs Megatron (crocodile) two pack.
This was the only toy I had until 1998, when I got upgraded to the Ultra class Optimus Primal (gorilla) Vs Megatron (t rex) versus pack.
I lost the Megatron within a month in daycare, so he was not so deeply embedded in my memories. As for bat Primal... oh I took bat Primal around with me EVERYWHERE. had a string on his tail and hung him around my neck! Optimus Primal bat toy was my jam. It was a very clever spring loaded one-step changer. This toy taught me about spring force, gears, detents, four bar linkages. More importantly, It introduced me to Transformers. It was AWESOME.
One fateful day in 1998 I was playing outside and one of the shithead neighbor kids took it and threw it as far as he could. I searched and searched but it was never seen from again. I guess that toy also introduced me to loss.
Fast forward 24 years, I am so happy to have these buggers back in my collection! One open copy for the desk, one sealed mint copy for the memories. Probably my nostalgia goggles, but these toys really have held up through the years!

 

Last robit for me for a while arrived today. He's not perfect - the knee/leg bit is particularly awful - but I love his robit mode so much that I can't really complain.

Also backed this boardgame on Kickstarter, which is kinda Transformers-adjacent since it uses a lot of variations on IDW designs that you'll no doubt recognise -

Good day! Scored a Snapdragon at a Walmart, and I've wanted MakeToys Chaos Paladin ever since it was released and finally got myself one.

 

I want chaos paladin too

 

Something checked off my bucket list, I’ve really wanted a G1 Optimus for some time. It’s a reissue and very well quite possibly may be a knock off of a reissue, but if it’s functional, I’m not complaining.

 

Picked up some random beast related stuff today, some missing weapons, Snarl has one little broken peg. Only beastformer I had before was the same Optimus but it was missing one of the chrome feet and the maces. Not sure I will keep them, but keeps me occupied for a couple hours on a hot Saturday

 

And with that, my main cast is complete!
