Not died as such. Just not many posts since I last checked in on it. TFSExpress had them as being released this month but I guess its looking like August now. Can I ask if anybody knows if these guys had names pre KFC Toys, or are these names KFC have given to previously nameless bots? I have ordered Gunk. Thanks.

I finally got my Scraps yesterday, as with my Crash Hog I painted the inside of his helmet windscreen and also fixed the misassembled handlebars:

I agree with people saying the lack of ratchets compared to Crash Hog is a shame. At least most of the joints are well tolerenced although the left foot on mine is a bit loose.

Speaking of feet, I'm not a huge fan of the late 2000s style super pointy shoes on the new releases. They were fine before.

Not a whole lot of paint but the plastic seems a nicer finish than before to me.

What’s the issue with the handlebars that needs to be fixed? It’s a sheer miracle everytime I transform these guys that they fit through and I have no idea what I do every time to make it happen.

 

Ah not the real alt mode handlebars I mean the mini ones on Scraps head, the way they're assembled out of the box they point upwards in bot mode instead of outwards.

As for the real ones I'm sure I read KFC made the transformation clearances better on the new figures though I haven't transformed Scraps yet to see.

 

I just got a Crash Hog and haven't transformed him into alt-mode, but can the saddle bags open in alt-mode with the way you have them in your pics? I swapped them so that I could open them in bot mode.



I also noticed how dusty my desk is... :-D

 

I loved the heck out of my metallic Dumpyard. Glad to hear the plastic quality is improved. Couldn't get my reprolabels covering up Crash Hog's chest fast enough! Limbs always been good. Same old massive hands???

 

That yellow is delightfully not-quite-vomit, not-quite-urine.

 

The problem is their hands were better fit for even larger figures, just looking massive. Pus the square cut shape due to fingers being the same length just ruined the aesthetic and took attention away from other incredible features of the sculpt. Articulating them to a position without making them look like they got busted up by loan sharks is not impossible but may as well be at times.

 

That is legit amazing. I'm sure they were avoiding Fans toys products like the plague, and couldn't find a UT Blurr to save their lives hahaha

 

My Sheridan shoulder are the same. Very disappointing! I'm a FT fan but they have been lazy on articulation: settling for 90 degree elbows, barely adequate ankle rockers and hit/miss ab crunch. Sheridan also doesn't hold anything (I can only get him holding Hot Rod's fishing rod and XTB Neptune's bucket lol, but I'm cheating.)

 

Lol that is very funny. Its amazing we get any figures at all given these skeleton crews.
