I loved Siege UM when I first got him, then the love waned... it's so blocky, the greebleness, and then the battle space poo wore me in.

If it's Nemesis UM, I hope it's cleaned up with Earthrise aesthetics, I'm all in.

Today's Soundwave preorders. How long did they last?

 

I cancelled my Elita and Bumblebee pre-orders since I think it will be easier for me to get them from HLJ anyway.

How do refunds work in Walmart by the way? They charged me instantly and then when I cancelled my order said something like "Your bank might have charged you but they will have to adjust it soon" but a few days later and nothing happened.

 

I am so down for a Nemesis UMagnus! I've been waiting and wanting another all black UM for an eternity. The last Nemesis UM I got was from Heerotoymaker WST UM, love that toy dearly:

Whoo, that looks so cool. I almost didn't recognize the cab from Stack once it was painted like that. I hope someday KFC releases Citizen Stack at a Voyager/Leader Scale. I actually love that mold as an alternate/generation UM.

Personally, as much as I love the Siege UM mold, I do not want an all black version coming from the Siege. The reason, I feel like it's a redundancy to the Netflix UM.

I\'d like to have an Elita-1 figure, but the Power of the Primes one bugged me so much for its alt mode and combiner torso modes that I never bought her. I want to want this one, but that gawd-awful backpack that\'s keeping from from wanting Earthrise Arcee is still there. I think I can kinda justify not bothering again, especially with OT at work dying down and preventing me from having as much disposable income...

Yeah, and it becomes a rad "hoverboard." It sucks. The backpack is more bearable with Elita-1 because she isn't a character that's close enough to my actual nostalgia to want a better looking bot, but I still have a hard time stomaching her gross partsforming.

 

Im picking her up as part of bundle of gifts for my wife. Arcee looks too cheap.

 

Having worked for a credit card company, I can confidently say that credits from vendors to your card can take several days to be confirmed and to post to your account. Credit card companies deduct the funds on a "pending" basis immediately upon receiving the charge request to ensure you don't overdraw your card or otherwise exceed your credit limit, but they wait several days to confirm that the credit is definitely coming from the vendor before they make the money available to you again.

That's my problem with the mold as well. And honestly I would be able to forgive it if it just looked more like a hoverboard or something else besides an obvious chunk off the top of a car. Heck, you couldn't flip it over and sculpt something underneath to make it a hoverboard?

If you have to rip shit off your toy to make it look better, it's clearly not that great.

 

I agree with this. The other parts formers recently make decently convincing shields. Or the Titans Return Blurr mold with shield accessory. This hoverboard just isn't exciting in it's detailing. I wish it had some hinges to fold narrow with some 80s style techno rocket board details on the inside that becomes the top of the board. A blast effect port can be where the rocket detailing is. My hopes is a 3rd party upgrade for Elita-1 that replicates her G1 animation top and is more convincing as an accessory. The bot mold looks great and I'm okay with a big backpack. Arcee is still iffy for me. Chances are I will eventually pick it up, but I'm still happy with the two previous Generations figures.
