Yay! Classic characters. That's something we never get in any other crossover. Those are always jam packed with rarely featured characters from late G1, Beast Wars and the UT.

 

Only just noticed that this is being written by Cavan Scott, who is a very prolific Doctor Who writer, and a rather good one at that. He oversaw the Forge arc, a very popular storyline from the audio dramas. Here’s hoping this is just as good. If nothing else, it shows he knows his way around a good time travel story.

Always kind of weird when a big name from one franchise you love makes the jump to another franchise you love.

 

I really really hope part of the story includes the Time Train also transforming...because I will go to my grave wanting a retool of ER Astrotrain.

 

Why would an 80s nostalgia bait crossover have characters from the 90s or 2000s?

Licensing for Trek stuff is a nightmare from what I have heard.

 

People also gotta ask themselves what role Beast Wars of all things would have a in a BttF crossover.

With Kingdom coming, there's going to be a plethora of beast modes to play with. At which point I could easily see Jurassic Park, Jaws, Godzilla, Kong...etc...style crossovers that'd fit with BW.

We're like 4 months away from a BW revival that'll likely last past 2021. Are we gonna spend all of that time complaining that we're still not getting enough other continuities?
