One final look back at this guy before the shiny new big one comes out.

Mods I did:

-Trimmed jawline and some inner tabs to allow more neck/head movement.
-Flipped back feet to be more “chicken legged”.
-Flipped tail wings to face right way.
-Flipped blue portion of wing to face right way.
-Covered up holes on bottom of wings.
-Added some Reprolabels decals.

These modification not only enhanced the 2 standard modes, but also make two other modes, bird/chicken (depending how you expand the wings) and Lynx/Griffin (again depending how you expand the wings).

Still think this guy makes a great “small scale” Skylynx for your legends figures.

I forget what mods I did with mine(both Tak and Hasbro). But I do know I rigged the Lynx heads so they could look up, which helps with making a lynx mode.

 

Just the wing tailfins and feet changes make a lot of difference

 

I did the same foot mod. It makes such a difference.

 

Now all it needs is a convicing robot fan mode and it will be perfect  

 

What did you do to the neck? And a balljoint? These were all quick/simple mods, but I wouldn’t be against a more involved mod.

I remember hollowing out something and adding a hinge. I can dig it out later and show the pix if you want

 

If only the second one had better "shoulders", other than that, it works for me, now it is perfect...

But seriously, the mods on this thread and the fan modes, made me regret passing from it

 

It’s still a fun little figure to play around with (surely easier than the big guy will be), especially with smaller TFs or HoC mini-figs. Or I sell it, only time will tell.
