    Here's a couple of third-party trailers.

On the left is the BTS Trailer, on the right is the G3 Trailer from Fansproject. Both are very sturdy toys. The BTS Trailer is less expensive and doesn't have as many options as the G3 Trailer, but it's still well worth the price I paid for it. There's also a Spike and Sparkplug there in the BTS Trailer from... somewhere. :p  But yeah. Both are really great toys.

And it's been a few weeks, so I think this is okay. ;)

Fansproject's armor upgrades for Ultra Magnus and Hot Rod. I also own the Nemesis Prime and Optimus Prime recolors of the City Commander armor, but they're buried in the back of one of my CHUG shelves, and I didn't want to get them. So, yeah. Two early kits, and... eh? The City Commander armor's not 'bad', but that huge gun is really just unwieldy. I think they should've designed it without the gun so it could hold cars, like the original G1 Magnus armor. Also, putting the leg guards on can be quite scary.

Protector is... better. Not as bulky, and fits better. No really tense parts. I do like it came with its own Roller accessory. The battle station's more stable than it looks, too.

The shoulder armor always terrified me. I was so worried I'd snap off one of those locking tabs that clip it to the Classics Magnus shoulder piece.

Just got TFX Protector out of storage... Haven't seen him in like a decade.

That head sculpt is gnarly, but overall, it's was as cool as I remember. :)

    Vintage. :p

Yeah, I own that one. Kinda fiddly transforming, IIRC. I haven't disassembled it from Hot Rod and back into trailer mode for quite some time.

Thanks to 3P, i was able to put together a decent '86 group, several years before HasTak put out their Springer/Magnus armor/Arcee figures.

    Forgot about this thread.:D
Those Fansproject armors are definitely Hall of Fame...never would have thought that they would have been the company to "fall off", so to speak. Nice displays.
    Carry on...

The O.G. legends before legends scale... Perfect Effect Scouting Force X! (with Earthrise Starscream) :D

First time out of the box and out of storage since I got them from I believe BBTS back in like 2011?

Feels pretty good in hand in 2020 I suppose, super pose-able even after a decade, waist swivel and ankle rockers, nice! :thumb

They are short though, maybe 3 inches from head to toe. I think I kinda like them better than Siege Refraktor.

And I just did a quick search on how much this set was at MSRP... Fuck me! Was it really MSRP $90 in 2011?!?!?!

Wish I could go back in time and slap young HunterGreen2005 across the back of the head, lol. :p

Oh, don't feel too bad. I wish I could do that to young RKStrikerJK5, too. ;)  Nice little guys, but holy crap they're expensive!

Renderform/Venksta(?) upgrade (new head and guns) that turned Walmart exclusive Ultra Class Skyfall/Silverbolt repaint into G2 Skyjack! (with his G2 Cyberjet mates Hooligan and Spacecase) :D

I have the Ultra Class Darkwind Renderform one as well, but can't find it right now.

I think there was one for Ultra Class Hardhead and Onslaught that made them more into their G1/G2 selves if I recall.

Nice...that Mebsuta kit was definitely a polarizing topic from what I remember.
I think that came with or went with rather, the purple version of Feral Rex...Nero Rex, I believe. She is the same mold as the original MMC Azalea (CHUG version)...they milked that mold into many other fembots.
    carry on...

What Breaux man said :)  I believe Venksta made the headsculpt for her and Feral? It’s amazing either way.

PA-02 Samurai weapons set. Man, I loved this thing. A lot of mix-and-match head options and weapons overload made this toy go from zero to hero.
I got rid of this when I upgraded to DNA's Susanoo, which I love, but I wish I had not gotten rid of this.
