This is so ridiculous. I'm still looking for the two seekers, missed all the Walmart must haves (SW, BB, Elitaone), Gigawatt, now this. Wtf.

Preorder shouldn't sell out. What's the point?? Why not have it go on regular sale in September once it's ready to ship. Preorders are supposed to be able to stay open so they know how much to order or make!!! They're treating preorder like a regular order but with the date moved up so the assigned stock sells out months before they even get it. I'm so tired of this and having to hound the forums all day.

They did limit it. People who got it in their cart said it was limited to 2 per person.

 

I remember reading somewhere that for store exclusives, the online pre-order allotment is already determined because the initial run is already produced and ready to ship from the factories (which is how/why some samples leak out, they're already finished). So when Target or Wal-Mart put a pre-order up, its a fraction of their stock because the rest go to brick and mortar stores.

Pre-orders aren't necessarily made-to-order orders.

 

Thank you for the reply. I hope there's also more stock allocated to online orders as well. This stuff selling out in minutes is a clear indication of too high demand and too little supply and it sucks for some of us that miss a day or even a small hour news then are out of luck.

I mean why not announce this a month before it goes on sale. The evening before of course only hard core fans and scalpers will see it because that's what they do already.
