Who knew that this would be the Transformers show for 2020? A+

 

Did I miss an episode where Megatron becomes Super Megatron, becomes worthy of the Maxtrix plus a whole lot of alternate universe adventures?

Also I feel like they missed a trick paying homage to the last part of The return of Optimus prime with Hotrod turning to cup and asking if the war was over. The whole you stay on your side of the room is a bit too simple for me.

Another reason I don't like this show.
I keep trying to watch it thinking "maybe this time I might finally understand why people like this show" and then shit like this happens. Talk about a deus ex machina. I mean, other shows have done this, but never in such an out of nowhere-wtf is happening kind of way like this.
It's lazy writing. This show feels like it's written by a 10 year old.

Also, the way Starscream died here was hilariously quick and anticlimactic.
And why is Kup narrating the show all of a sudden?
Also, why would the Quintessons, whose name isn't even pronounced right, pick Starscream to be the universal judge immediately after meeting him?

Thank Primus this show is over, I hope Hasbro puts more effort in their next show.

Cyberverse is done there’s not going to be another season

 

It's explained in episodes 25 and 26

 

It actually is explained how megatron got his powers in the further episodes, considering the time and budget they were on the couldn’t have expanded it, the show was more about ideas then execution, and the reason people like it is kinda this scenario they were worn out from rid2015 hoping for a show atleast decent enough or a breath of fresh air.

Oh I know, I tried watching them. It doesn't make this any less deus ex machina-y and out of nowhere. I also think its odd how no one seems to be asking questions in this episode about wtf is happening with future-Megatron, everyone just accepts it. The lazy writing is to be expected this far in I guess.

Almost every TF show has always been about good ideas with questionable execution but suddenly everyone is giving this one a pass for whatever reason, even if other shows did it better. I don't get it.

 

I think it’s that situation where people find something enjoyable in a show and start to ignoring the flaws.

 

Too bad there won't be a cool toy of that redesign.

 

This episode really came off like. a child wrote it.

 

I just don't understand how this is the one time that people don't care about the flaws when they are more glaring than they have ever been.
People shat all over Prime, Animated, and so forth yet this series, which is arguably the new Energon in terms of quality, gets very minimal criticism.

All the possible reasons people spared the show of criticism

• They wanted a show with more action and fun then plot and story.
• They weren’t expecting much considering the tone and what the writers were limited to.
• Concepts they thought they would never see in a tf show happen
• Got tired of machinina a rid2015 (me)
• Don’t like serious plots
• Want a decent enough show

the explanation for megatron came in the later episodes.

 

??? People shit on Cyberverse here all the time. One of the main sources of show discussion on this website is a 20+ page "Cyberverse sucks" thread, and the staff here literally wrote an editorial this month about why people should give the show a chance.
