No way, Bee is a best selling character for them and they've got to account for the alternate tooling costs.

Besides which we already have a listing for Bugbite in selects so there's one repaint already.

So there's 4 uses of the base mold already. How many uses did titans return bumblebee get? 2, that's it. Bumblebee isn't a prominent part of generations, never has been, that's part of why his chug figures tend to be fairly popular

They had to hide Optimus behind. It looks like the lower legs are all blue but it could just be shadow.

They're doing a line with repaints of toys that only just came out last year with the same decos plus damage, they will absolutely do the same with Bumblebee if the Netflix show is a success.

I have to believe Studio Series 86 will include Springer. Arcee and Bee with some getting updated deco.

The Netflix line at Walmart is a good example of this(for the voyagers and some of the deluxes).

And if you don’t like the hybrid Earthrise looks, chances are, I think we’ll get toon accurate repaints in the rumored Studio Series 86 subline(like Arcee).

I must say I am beyond excited about this bee, been waiting for a long time.
Elita-1 is also a nice surprise, had no interest in the character but this arcee retool is very nice (arcee is nice as well)

To be honest, I have the TR bee and he is as pure/pale yellow as it gets. Although it is more cartoon accurate, I think it is hideous. This richer yellow started with movie bee and it’s not so bad. Plus, I think this cheesy shade goes much better with the crimson of cliffjumper.

I have been waiting for this BB CJ pair for almost a decade, I will get this bee one way or the other, I have to:)

The Prime, despite being darkened looks really good. Might need to see proper stock images to be sure its not fully darkened...or its maybe the lighting.

Oh man, didn't know it was a Walmart exclusive... in my personal experience, I had quite the time trying to track down those Anniversary cell-shaded Prime and Megs. In the end I was able to, so now I have an idea as to which one I should try looking at if I can't find them locally, but both their website and most of the people I called were very little help. As a little PSA, calling stores is not reliable whatsoever, mostly because half the time the person will only look up the item on the system, which is even more unreliable. I found the Prime and more Megatrons at a Walmart I had called, which had tried to tell me they had neither.

I wonder if the energon axe and energon mace accessories that come with the GenSelects Centurion figure are entirely made of the plastic-eating rubber, or if the handles are more of a translucent plastic. I'd love to display my cell-shaded OP and Megs with these, but don't want to end up having their fists turn to mush months down the line. :(

Oh I have no interest in that Prime, good as the Earthrise mold is. I have the Anniversary cell-shaded Prime, and I think it may be one of if not my favorite Prime, or at least my favorite G1 wise.

Yea, Bumblebee, Elita-1 and Soundwave are all walmart exclusive. As a heads up the release window on the walmart site says October 17th-21st for the various figures, so that's when you should start looking

All Netflix WFC figures are so far, only Walmart exclusives in the US. They are available/will be available to pre-order from other online resellers.

What a world we live in now, where the Big Two have almost completely different lines of Transformers figures.

I know the effect parts react to the paint by removing it. Do they also melt the plastic?

Those blast effects issues are only with prolonged contact. For purposes of posing and playing, it's fine. It's recommended not to leave it on for days (let alone weeks).

Honesty, we've left blast effect pieces on for a few weeks without any issues. Primary issue is with paint coming off followed by plastic. These are all superficial. Your figure will not melt.
