Yeah I was a bit disappointed about that.

 

I just checked the render. It’s the same shade yellow. If it’s not their intended color choices, they need to alert the consumers of that fact.

 

I like the more 'Cheesy' yellow than the other yellow. The more pure yellow just makes it look ugly

 

Why not just get the US release?

You know what I'm not a fan of elita her head looks like it should be on a Voyager toy.

 

I'm probably in the minority here, but I really like Elita's color scheme on this toy. The salmon-pink and kinda champagne color on her shins and arms looks really nice to me. The white thighs are maybe a little bit out of place, but they don't bother me. Also her head sculpt looks great.

Impactor, on the other hand, looks dingy and kinda gross with that grimy yellow. And it's a bummer they used the more Marvel-ish head sculpt than the superior (IMO) IDW version. So I'm definitely skipping Impactor but picking up Elita.

hmm.. in time you can rub the paint off a bit, but overall, if the paint is high quality and very liquid. It's usually acceptable.

Come to think of it, I just went and looked at my SS-18 Bee and he's not really a pure yellow either. But I was okay with that one. If Netflix Bee is close to that same plastic color, I can probably deal with it.

They should've given Netflix Wheeljack the head from Transformers: The Movie.

 

Bee will be repainted at least twice, one thing I've learned in the last few years is that if you're not happy with a figures deco then you should just wait because there's usually another version right around the corner.

 

Not necessarily. He is the 3rd use of the mold, so they may feel they've gotten their mileage out of it.

 

Only difference with Bee I can think of is he's got the VW licensing which probably costs some extra $$$ that a run of the mill WFC Deluxe doesn't have to deal with. Bugbite probably helps offset that in Selects, but I wouldn't be surprised to see some form of Deluxe Bee rear his head in Kingdom.

I guess the counter to this is there's more than a handful of licensed Studio Series figures that have yet to have any sort of re-uses either, so who knows.
