The favourite so far is Tri-Digger, Rambler is out next week though so not long to wait to see what people think of that one.
Dasher is my favorite because it is so versatile. Digger is a close second though, just because of the look, and the arm gimmick is cool. I have high hopes for rambler.
So does this mean you won't make weird assumptions anymore, or you will and we'll just have to get used to it/ignore? I'm already anticipating Trirambler will be my favorite, but yeah I think Digger is the best so far. Dasher and Jetter have their strengths, but Digger's the most interesting of the three for me.
I want to say my favorites go in this order: Jetter, it's a pewpew jet-thing then Dasher because it has batman tumbler suspension. That leaves Digger at number 3, but that's not right. Well, I guess I "feel" them a little too much.
Of the three out so far, I would rank them: dasher, digger, then jetter. I didn’t initially care for jetter but i have started to appreciate it more.
my Favorite Triverse depends on which one I’m playing with at the time. They’re all fantastic. Especially if you mix the shadow/ normal release parts to make everything more cohesive. Edit: please ignore the messy desk, it’s kinda a workshop area. Just showing how clean the figures look with a more dedicated color scheme:
Got my Vers Riser 01 just now and I was initially impressed by just how slickly designed the new style powered suit is, everything tabs in very tightly, there's loads of articulation now and it folds up very compactly too. Then this happened, it's not like I was trying to wrench it off or anything. :/ So be careful when removing the front wing bit, it's very tight in the holes on the underside of the feet.
Cheers dude, yeah it's annoying as all hell, especially after you wait so long for these things to come out, then ship, then arrive etc. To be fair though, I've got a shit load of Diaclone now and this is only the second one to have actually broken, I've had three arrive missassembled also. Still having fun with it though, I think I've figured out the torso mode that the Japanese fans were trying. It's pretty easy to do and no extra parts are needed. The rail system plug is just holding it up for the pictures. Just need to get some arms from one of the bigger boys in there later, when I'm not, err, 'working'... Bit of extra flair.
Would like to share a few photos of my Trivers squad. These guys are great! I just wish they had compatibility with the larger toys.
This is what the Vers Risers are for, they're like bridging products between the previous mechs and the Trivers series.
I saw that happening with others on twitter: exactly those pegs. If you are able to remove the peg using a very thin drill, you can fix it using a thin metal pin plus glue/epoxy to bridge the parts.
The one I saw on that post has the wing tips folded the opposite of the way you do, and the mid wing pieces folded back 90 degrees so the peg holes are on the outside, where I assume they figured arms would peg in.
Good memory, much better then mine! I'm going to try adding the arms to the rail joint frame though, see how that goes.
Arms added, no idea how I'll add any legs to it at the mo though, not many ports in that area as it is.
