yeah and they also bumped up the price, right in the middle of msging them on eBay to ask some questions just before purchasing yest.   

 

I suspect the wholesale price was higher than sellers expected. I got very little discount from its 268 yuan (~$38) MSRP on TaoBao too.

(MST gave one whole box of parts instead.)

The other possibility is price control.

 

You can not count those parts since they were a pre order bonus as MST said and would be for sale loose for others.
So if that is the reason then a Megatron with out the bonus should be cheaper and the whole pre order bonus is BS.
So no doubt it is price control but like I said before if they keep bumping up those prices and keep denying other items that should be included with a figure because they do it as a pre order bonus.
What is the point of collecting legends ?.
MST Megatron 50 euro, DX9 Wildrider 68 euro, serious !!!!!!

 

You get the extra parts free with pre-orders. After that, you need to pay for it.

The price of Megatron will not be lowered later. Pay the same price, and no extra parts.

 

I know, was beeing a bit sarcastic about the way MST is going on about with the way they sale things.
To each his own but I stick with Legends +.
Better price, better headsculpts and more extra's for free  

 

What is your opinion on Legends+

 

I have no problems with them and beeing an OS KO.
As I understand it is normal practice for chinees companies to sell their designs to others.
Since they are bigger they do not compete with the OG designs.
Besides MFT Hounds floppy legs, I have had no real QC problems.
From the MST ko's I can say MFT should be named Master Face Technician  
I just started a year ago and made the choice to go with the + size for money and a change to complete a serie.
Iron Factory I left a side because of that, New Age cost too much, wanted to double dip with Magic Square but recent development from their part made me think I just get a couple of them to complete my G1 set up like the mini bots.
Price already dropped big on their Soundwave so maybe the Megatron will too.

When I read this I messaged baba to inquire about mine. They told me they received 10 for now and the rest are coming end of July. So I have to wait a couple more weeks, plus the shipping time after that. I guess you are one of the lucky first 10!

Not feeling this one... i guess its the lack of paint kind of makes him look unfinished, ill go with newage on this one too, it's not that it does not look bad either just plain. The back is definitely an improvement over newage for sure and i do like the chunky design but it just lacks so much detail, also weird they only painted part of the upper arm red.. the magic square plastic just looks so bland when it's in grey. Shame because the Optimus prime is so awesome, glad the newage Megatron version scales pretty well with him until newage makes their own prime hopefully.

Had my postage notice from ShowZ this morning... so should see him in about a month and a half!!

 

More like 2 months for me. I ordered an in-stock NA clear Megatron on May 20th and received it July 17th. The shipping by boat takes a looooong time these days.

Anyway, this guy looks rad, bring on the metallic colored toy version hopefully soon.
