Having run out of bots that people have actually heard of, I made Lyzack, based on DJW's head shot. Please leave a comment. I need comments to live!

This is what she looks like:

She is made from Windblade's legs, Arcee's arms, Blitzwing's wings and fins and a whole lot of styrene. Transformation video is here (complete with poem!)

The face is made from Bumblebee, if you can believe it. I had to shave it down so much I shaved right through the plastic and had to build it up again with styrene. I also trimmed down the nose.

This is her alt mode. The windscreen is Windblade's as well. Speaking of noses, the nose cone is a little chubbier than I would have liked, but transformation made that difficult.

Color breakdown was a little tricky. Leozack's layout is a little simple for a modern figure, so I added some yellow and black.

The hat is made from styrene, believe it or not. Started with the front of the snoot and built backwards from there.

And this is her jet mode. Wait. Not it isn't. I like how the smirk can come across as either sinister or playful depending on the angle.

The fang took a couple tries to get right. Ultimately it needed an outline to stand out from the white face, so what you're seeing there is the tiniest possible piece of black vinyl with a similarly tiny piece of light grey on top of that.

Size was a little tricky to get right. I wanted her to be more of a voyager, but all the donor parts are a bit small. I lengthended Windblade's legs by about a half an inch. Cut off the ankles and built a styrene sleeve around them to reattach the ankles lower down. She's still only about AS tall as an animated deluxe to the top of the head.

Chest was a bit hard to figure out. Leozack is depicted without his breastplate about half the time, and DJW didn't draw Lyzack a body, so I kind of cherry-picked features from different versions.

If I had it to do over again, I'd have mounted the wings lower down. Oh well.

She was a lot of fun to photograph, except how hard it was to get the teal to show up right. This still isn't quite true to life. The real color is more green and more vivid.

The grey parts are here so that her torso doesn't get visually lost in her backpack like on the CW moonracer mold.

I know it's a bit of a long rambly post, but if you look in the middle you'll see a comparison pick with RID windblade, who donated the legs. I actually used the redeco with the mask. I modified them to be a bit longer and changed the knees.

I'm not normally a fan of stylised aesthetics but she does look great. I've a soft spot for obscure G1 characters.

    Excellent work!!

Once again your work is absolutely incredible! The amount of scratchbuilding you do and how clean it all ends up is insane.

I think this is a great representation of Lyzack! You managed to make a animated jet-former that doesn't follow the typical
seeker or Jet twin look, but fits perfectly into the animated style. Cute hats off to you, good sir

This is honestly a good TFA custom. It looks nice in both modes, It has good articulation from what I've seen, and a good paint job. Good job man!

Great proportions on a fembot! A true challenge that Hasbro rarely accomplish.

This is the first robot I’ve ever seen that’s created an emotional response in my cold dead heart. It was mainly a long exhale while I realized this was “cute.”

That’s something to be proud of, mister.
